Okay so I see people like to use Bilstein 5100s on their 1st gen tundras.

So lets say I want to do 1 inch lift in the back and a 2 inch lift in the front.

Would I just order 4 sets of these:

    http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kit...aspx?t_c=1&t_s=90&t_pt=3306&t_pn=BIL24-188265

which would give me 4 shocks, then i'd install them all around and set them accordingly?

Or do I need to use struts in the front/back instead?

    Like this?

    http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kit...aspx?t_c=1&t_s=90&t_pt=3306&t_pn=BIL24-100144

    I'm a little confused.

    What would you do?

    Any help or thoughts welcome.

Actually thanks for posting that website!

See I was trying get some sort of lift, and saving some money:

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/Bilstein-5100-Height-adjustable-front-rear-shocks_p_29.html

And it looks like that site has a kit of 4 for 400 bucks.

This is what i'll probably order. Thanks.

Still not sure if the shocks go on the front or back or if the struts go on the front or back.

When you crawl under your truck you will see. Struts on front. They have the adjustment ring. Shocks on back.
