So at this point we are only diagnosing your side mirrors not working? Everything else is good I’m trying to make sense of all the post I still don’t know what cab configuration you have extended cab and crew cab have different wiring schematic

 

Oh sorry, it's a 04 Dbl cab SR5 4wd with that TRD pkg.

Ah I am without elec mirrors, Radio, clock and the two power plugs on the right of the console. Cig lighter works as well as everything else on the dash.

And that one terminal has no power, about to pull the box and see if it is just pushed back. And I still haven't got 62 out.

But today is a new day and I have nothing to do but figure this out.

 

that’s the side mirror wiring schematic, it’s easy to see if the pin pushed back that’s very hard to happen I never seen it happen. That number 62 has a clear top so you can see if the fuse is burnt

 

Thanks man, don't know where you find these, but thank you for them. Well that fuse is terminal is not pushed in. And if I use the little tester that came in the fuse case I bought, it shows good. However, if I use a single pole that is ground to the frame, it is the only one that does not show working. I am at a point where I may just take it in and pay the outrageous price to have it fixed. What pisses me off is that I created this issue, by looking for a rear window issue that wasn't. grrrr...

Maybe I'll find something to fix it. It's strange that the #22 under the dash is only for the two power outlets and not the mirrors or radio or the clock. I could actually not worry about the mirrors or clock. But would like my radio. lol

 

So I have been shown this several times. Saying this is the R3 I need to check. But I have nothing like this, unless it is hidden somewhere. And apparently the R3 that I changed(under the hood) could have been a EFI.. lol

 

No prob man I do my best to help out we have a subscription with a tech company for repair Information so I can get for any automobile information my company pays for it. Relay are a pain to check luckily your truck has several that are the same easiest thing to do is swap it with another one like for example fuel pump if you swap them and the truck doesn’t start then you found a bad relay

Ok when I diagnose a vehicle it really helps a lot to get the back story if possible if not then I need to figure it out like a murder investigation lol. So what happen that you arched what where you doing? If it’s just a fast arch then it’s very possible just a blown fuse so we need to start with one system at a time cause that might fix the other system that are not working

The reason I ask is because when you've been giving #'s, your #22 you mention in OUR owners manual 2004 DC, is labeled as #52(PWR OUTLET 15 A: Power outlets). The reason I mention that is because in following it appears these pictures you are posting is not the same as OUR owners manual ?
The below is from the OwnersManual for 2004 DC and if you look on pg 454-459, it gives pictorial of what we are dealing with. If those numbers are used it might help.

 

this is more clear. And it’s showing F12 7.5A fuse to be the Mirror power

 

For some reason the #'s I found online are numbered different, but the #52 is in the same spot as the #22 I was referring to. Going by the owners manual #52 shows it has power using the supplied tester that came in the fuse package, but when I use my single pole tester, it doesn't show any power but does to all the rest.

without knowing anything about supplied tester or single pole tester, all I can add is....some places have ~12vdc standing still, some have vdc with key in ACC and also, when checking voltage at a fuse holder, only one side(left side in my DC) will have voltage when checking for voltage with fuse removed.

 

Well, this all started because the rear cab window would work, long story short.. I never checked the window lock, yes I know. But in the process of doing that, and checking everything, and I don't know why I did, but was curious if I was doing it right, I tried to see if the mirror had power and it did and I blew it up. I placed the probe in the spot marked in picture. Poof! Yes I know... haha

 

Issued was solved Sunday morning! Thanks everyone.

which now has me wanting to go look into all the fuses on a car we still have that my parents owned. 2001 Lesabre (?) with 32K orig miles, the front passenger door has nothing that works, window, lock or mirror.

 

Glad to see you figured it out! You've got way more patience for this stuff than me. I've read all this as it's been going, and one thing I think I can say for sure; you will never forget to check the window lock again.

 

Good deal. Yes always good to double check on those buick lesabre it was common for that door master switch to go bad if you see everything you mentioned is on the master switch

Glad this problem was figured out. Its a pain to pull the fuses and look at them. I’ve found using a flashlight shone from behind the fuse helps to see if the connection inside is blown. Even with good eyes and daylight its hard to see. The backlight helps contrast things.

While that is true in some cases, in the case of this particular fuse and the majority of those contained in the kick panel fuse box are the ATM type. One would have to pull the one they suspected by looking on backside of the fuse block door to see if it's a blown connection. The rating number on top of fuse blocks a view of open in fuse connection.

 

Is this the OP’s fuse type in question?

 

No, I grabbed the wrong one but similar to one blown but for accuracy, it's actually the one below which is from a 2004 like his....Rad 2....7.5A. Had a conversation with him the other day and suggested a few things offline and one suggestion was to pull the little fuses one by one since you can not tell otherwise or from top side and physically see if it was blown. He did and found Rad2 blown.
