Pretty happy with the one below. It fits into the CD slot, then you press a lever which expands its grippers, holding it in place. It is quick to install and remove, you can twist it to orient your device how you please, and it has held my iPhone 7plus and now my iPhone 11.

It has done pretty well. I wish I had a better location for it or a more secure way to attach it to the vent but overall it has been a good option.

I used the iottie one touch for about 6 months, took the CD plate off and attached it with a RAM ball.

problem was that the phone kept slipping out when driving off road or on forest service roads. Not enough grip for my iPhone 7 Plus in a magpul case. Awesome for city driving though.

The tachform motorcycle mount is not a one handed affair but the spring is about 10x stronger, there is zero chance the phone will slip out of it.

That's a pretty cool wireless charger, almost looks stock. What is it?

Thanks! I have a tablet that I want to mount in the same location. I don't want to mount more than just one tablet that I already have a mount for from my old car. I do like the idea of the under plate for more secure mounting, may make a smaller one for just my one mount. How much space is there to work with between that spot and the radio?

I have small hands...but the room is fine for one hand, moving wires out of the way. When you unscrew and put back the radio, careful of the screws, if you drop it you can't get it back, at least I couldn't but attached with the three left.

Love my proclip, yes it’s a touch pricey but it works perfectly and is exactly what I needed.

Right on! Yea I just recently installed it and just got back from a 2200 mi road trip and it was perfect, didn’t block the vent, didn’t mess with the view. Only thing was I kept forgetting it when I got out, kinda blends in to the dash.

I'm planning on putting that ICS dash mount on, but I already have 4 things I want to put on it and just need a place to put my phone when my wife is with me. This was perfect and affordable.

I’d rather not list. My wife might see it.
@blackoutt Nice mod on the additional USB ports on the speaker grill. Do you have a thread on the mod or maybe you can point me to the right direction for parts. I’ll be opening up the dash/ HU area so I might as well get this done. Thanks.

    Thanks!

The only extra part is really the blue sea usb fast charge port. Pricey but worth it in my opinion over the cheap slow ones that you'll end up replacing anyway. I already had the wire and terminals. Its tapped into the lower dash 12v outlet that I'll never use. Very careful and methodical dremeling to make it fit!

Those of you using the Rago mount, what size bolts fit in the top for mounting accessories, or does it come with some? Please advise!

I bought the same mount off of Amazon and have been pretty impressed by it. Holds my note 9 with somewhat heavy case just fine. Easy to remove the mount as well.

I have this after trying several different ones. Let's just say you get what you pay for. I would recommend the proclip over any I have seen for functionality and clean looks.

Had tons of phone mounts, must say “PROCLIP” has a solid mount and magnetic/. Cordless charger. Get this comes with everything you need. Kind of on the higher end price, “you get what you pay for”

I have just used simple Velcro, fuzzy side on the phone case and grabbing part on the car for the last 2 years. Zero problems. Plus it’s dirt cheap. Just find any Velcro. I have the strong one from other projects. Holds it up just fine.

Was looking for something simplistic with minimal changes to phone. Went with the Caseco Core 360. I like it.

+1 on the Proclip. Clean look as opposed to many others on the market with prongs. It does not require any drilling which was a major plus, within arms reach without being in the middle of the cab, has great height so you're not looking down, and does not cover air vents! I'm very happy with mine.

are you able to rotate the proclip mount horizontally? Ive googled this mount for the tundra but i only see the mount oriented vertically...

Yes, it can be turned. There are screws on the mount plate to increase or decrease the resistance. I purposely set mine is set pretty tight so it doesn't rotate very easily.
