    I knew something was going on. I tried getting in late and could not even get a reply from him and I figured something happened with all the posts on here. I went through Lightwerkz.net and could not be happier... once I get the info I need to install them on my 2018 Platinum that has the LED DRL and Headlights. Seems to be some confusion with what is required to get rid of the warning light on the dash so I am still waiting.

    Also, has anyone got their refund yet? I accidentally placed a double order with Lightwerkz. They canceled one of them on Saturday the 23rd and I've already received that refund, but still nothing from Retrofit Wholesale.

    Edit: I was holding off on a dispute in order to avoid any adverse restrictions on their merchant account, but I no longer care. Dispute filed.

    Rules of the group buy was simple, shipments were the end of November. This was because of other issues from previous group buys so orders are sent to trs when all is organized and ready fog shipment. Trs did not delay anything, ruled were clear and simple.

    I noticed affew filed a dispute and the refund was returned to the account by their bank pending the dispute. You are all more than welcome to file a dispute but refunds are sent. Like I said it depends on your bank but most should have received it by now. Hell I'm still waiting for a refund from the supplier for a return which was more than 2 weeks ago.

    Again you guys can file a claim with your cc if your worried.

    As far as orders go, as far as I can tell there's only 7 orders from this forum that was canceled.

    TRS said as soon as they receive an order they ship it. Obviously, you didnt send all the orders to them. Try and twist it all you want. The fact is you collected the orders and money, and then only placed a few of the orders with TRS.

    No not all orders were sent to trs. Again things were done differently for this group buy because of a long wait, delay and problems with group buys on other xb headlights. Orders are sent to trs in groups, once those people receive the lights and no issues second batch is sent and so on. There were some delays with them getting out orders. They still have orders I placed from weeks ago that either just shipped or about to ship.

    Also, there are plenty of other dealers that complained about the price Changes. Some orders trs gets out next day, some orders it takes more time. It really depends on their current load.

    I know those are upset about not receiving there lights. Again I do apologize for cancelation those remaining 7 orders. Again refunds were sent out and if you read back a few pages others have received them. But you guys can call your cc company and they'll usually issue the refund same or next day. Again I apologize for cancelation the remaining orders.

    There's quite a few members bought other products from this forum despite the issues with the XB headlights and complaints. Those people have already received those orders or they are in transit.

    Also @DigitalFusion I do appreciate your help and patience with this group buy. And I apologize it's taking so long to receive your refund. Today is day 7 since your refund was issued and please feel free to contact your cc company to speed the process up so you can receive your funds.

    No refund on my end and now it's been 8 business days. Just got off the phone with Discover(my CC company) and they have seen nothing sent from Retrofit. As I mentioned before, Discover told be if Retrofit had issued a refund it would have posted to my account within 2 business days. Just got off the phone with Discover and they have still seen nothing! Giving this until tomorrow morning then making a dispute. I've contacted Retrofit a few times through email about the refund and it's always an excuse......

    Im not sure what was told to you through email as we have someone else who handles emails. Your the one who changed card numbers and was considered if they would refund it back on the same card or the new card correct? There was a failed refund issue we received yesterday and it might be yours because of the situation. If that's the case then it's easier and faster to dispute it with the discover card direct.

    To be honest, whoever does your emails should be fired, seriously! Very unprofessional, foul language(yeah, we all do it, but not to a customer) and it almost seems copied and pasted sometimes. I'm not just say that because I'm pissed about the whole situation. I can send you copies of the emails if you'd like?

    Yes, I was the one who's CC was lost after the purchase and was issued a new CC. I already asked Discover twice and was told that even if the refund was issued to the old card number it would post on my account without a problem. Discover, in there infinite wisdom, has told me the to give the merchant 10 business days to issue a refund so I'll have to wait two more days to dispute. If you could get someone to look into the failed refund and see if it's mine that'd be great........

    Talk all of the bullshit you want. The delayed shipment was TOTALLY your decision. Had nothing to do with TRS. By the time you got the money back that you were floating you tried to place the orders (placed late) and the pricing had changed because YOU waited to place the orders.

    You were floating yourself a loan and you could not fulfill he orders because you were using OUR money for something else.

    Lay blame on all others.

    I know you keep saying this is your last GB, I can almost guarantee you that if you tried another one, no one would buy after this fiasco.

    Continue on with your explanations but nothing more than ponzi scheme...

    And keep being apologetic and gracious and put the blame on others. You accomplished what you wanted on your end. You can be happy.

    But it is still bullshit and bad business.

    JFC man. You should just stop digging yourself into a hole. You never said you were going to do that. You said you sent the orders to TRS and then they only shipped out about a dozen orders.

    Furthermore, its just ridiculous to send a 'batch of orders' and then only send in 'another batch' only if there are 'no issues' with the first one.

    Stop lying and making it up as you go, its only making you look worse.

    A few months ago he asked to be banned. For some reason it never happened. This isn’t the first time. If he comes back it will happen again unfortunately. I tried to warn folks early so did others but no one wants to be that guy.

    I kept defending the guy because I've been on his side of a GB that the distributor makes you look bad and he went through some very tough times that I can't even imagine going through as a parent myself.

    This isn't the same. Dishonest as all hell. Why he is even allowed to post up offers on here is offensive.

    The biggest kick in the balls, besides getting screwed over on the lights, is the fact that I was PM'd by the seller yesterday and told , "So I checked and it looks like your refund did fail. I'm not exactly sure why it failed but Go ahead and have discover issue the refund." How the f**k is it on me to call my CC company and try to refund my own purchase?!

    The least this shithead could do is man up and do the right thing by calling my CC company and issue a refund. Is it really that hard, after screwing me over, to make a phone call?

    Called my CC company and disputed it. Money should be credited in 24 hours.

    This vendor/scammer should be banned!

    Kinda makes a person wonder if its because the funds to cover the refund arent there, which is why he has recently been resigned to just tell people to ask for chargebacks.

    If so, and he setup his business as an LLC or corporation, can he just dodge the negative balance his merchant account is accumulating?

    Same old, same old with this guy. I posted a few times when this GB went up to stay away. I believe I said caveat emptor, buyer beware. This is the 2nd or 3rd time around with very similar circumstances and results. I feel bad for all those who got screwed, it really sucks. I hope everyone gets their money back and that this guy never is allowed here again, he likes other boards better and how well all his GBs go except ours. I can tell everyone that this forum is one of the tightest bunch of members and a lot of mature and honest people are here, so I'm not buying that part of his story either.

    IDK why, but this just makes my blood boil for some reason. I was more than willing to wait for the lights, being lied to and manipulated is something I just can't stand.

    I get I am fairly new to this site (just bought this tundra last year, had an 01 back in the day and was fairly active on another tundra forum) but holy hell, do the mods not intervene on this site? Kinda seems overwhelming at this point

    Wow that's completely unnecessary to use that kind of language. We already tried contacted your bank and we the only response we received was that they sent the money back to our account. We sent the refund again but as o sent you in your pm to go ahead and have them issue the refund because there's obviously a problem when you had your other card canceled
