Yes another tire thread but need some serious input. I think I have my tire search narrowed down. Currently running 20" XD hoss +30 offset with 275/60/R20 BFG KO2, 2 inch tough country spacer lift in the front. I dont do any serious off roading as ND is pretty flat... but we do have 5-7 months of winter/mud/slop. Frequent gravel, highway and minimum maintenance roads.
Poll is tire options I may have narrowed down to. Please provide any summer, road noise, snow, compacted snow/ice or other input.

I think the recent run on falkens is just a trend.

I’m gonna run Cooper ST Maxx next. I’m running KO2 now. You may want to consider the Maxx as well.

Have had Exos and Ridges. Exos seemed more agressive and performed GREAT in the snow and ice, even when I wore the outside edges down. Went with a bigger tire and couldn't get them in the size I wanted so went Ridge. Exos definitely had noticeable road noise at 25-35mph while the Ridge's are much quieter.

They were mostly noticeable at lower speeds, highway wasn't bad at all.

Just went through this. I never considered the Falkens, so my top 3 were the Ridge Grapplers, KO2’s, and the Cooper AT3’s. I’ve had very good luck with KO2’s in the past, but ultimately decided to give the Coopers a try because they were the lightest of the 3 and MPG is important to me driving 25k per year. I only have 1k miles on them and haven’t had them in much snow yet but I’m happy with them so far. The KO2’s are a slightly better looking tire, but the AT3’s are a much more aggressive looking tire than I was expecting.

The Cooper AT3's on pavement are quiet and ride nice. Have done well for me in sand at beach and out on pipeline right of ways that can be very muddy.
    Cannot comment on snow.

The KO2 were a great tire for the first 15k miles then after been steadily declining especially wet performance. I have about 35-40k on them with decent tread left but they are weather cracking and missing a chunk half the size of a penny that's deep and concerning. As far as miles I average 10-12k a year.

Ordered the Exo grapplers today and will have them on in the next couple days. Talked with a few guys that ran them and they liked them a lot for North Dakota driving out performing out KO2 and Duratracs that they ran previously also. I guess time will tell...

I had my new EXO grapplers installed yesterday and already can tell a huge difference compared to my KO2. Didnt need 4wd around town in the slushy half frozen slop of snow like I did with the KO2. Highway driving seems much smoother. However they are noticeably more noisy compared to the KO2, not complaining because I'll take performance over noise any day. Also balancing them was much easier with a fraction of weights required compared to the KO2.
