    Nailed it

Fun fact, possums eat ticks, roaches and all kinds of nasty stuff and they don't carry any diseases.

My first thought is wheel bearing.

    Second thought....

Maybe the needle bearing where the CV shaft goes into dif? Drivers side?

Wheel bearings upfront are only 15K old
Needle bearing has been replaced with a eastcoastgearsupply bushings

Drivers side needle edit* bushing is bad (even though its new). Just a guess. It could be a bad tire as well.

Wheel bearings have a wha wha wha sound (at least mine did). Mine started at 15-20mph all the way up to as fast as the truck would go. Wha wha just got faster sounding.

My bad bearing was the drivers rear side and I drove with it for 5-6 years. When it first started it was hard to hear exactly where it was coming. The sound would ‘roll’ through the cab. It finally got so bad (loud) this summer you could define the point of origin and it was replaced. So quiet now.

Could still be the "Made in China" bearings that A1 sells.

Just a heads up that the NAPA bearings are made in Brasil.

Jacked up the rear end and as quiet as can be. So definitely coming from the front somewhere.
I spun the front hub by hand while I was working on my front brakes. Didn't notice any noises or see anything out of the ordinary.

Tires are K02's with only 10k.
Wouldn't tires constantly make noise if they were bad? I also swapped the front tires just to take that out of the equation

It could still be a bearing. I just threw the tire out there just in case as they can be culprits. Here is a helpful link I use for my problems. Like anything in life, its up to you to figure it out.

Make sure the dust shield isn't rubbing on one of the discs. Cheap and easy fix for my old Supra that was doing something similar.

Bad tires are usually dependent on a certain speed band where they will give you trouble. Fine until 50, then bad, then fine again at 70 for example.

I'm not sure how they would test them other than checking balance and or road testing.

And I'm far from sure its a tire issue, just wanted to make it clear that tire issues classically are not there all the time but only at certain speed bands.

If you read that above link I posted, Mr. Pinks symptoms mimic bad tires. If it is or not, I have no idea. Just passing along the info.

Here is a bad bearing link.

    http://www.agcoauto.com/content/news/p2_articleid/269

BTW, my bad bearing sound was through all speeds. It did not go away on turnings as suggested in this article. Problems can be hard to diagnose. My mechanic nailed it when he read my written symptom card list before the test drive. Said, ‘I think its a bad bearing’.

2 minutes into the test drive he says it drivers rear.

Noise also goes away during braking at freeway speeds.
All these car issues are driving me nuts , wife's 14 Ex Sport just took a shit. Turbo failure with multiple oil leaks. First and last ford I'll ever get ‍♂️

Yep just paid it off back in July. Only has 87k miles on her. It's a fun car to drive but the upkeep, recalls, and now this just isn't worth the hassle. Warranty inspector should be checking it out today or tomorrow to hopefully approve the repairs.
