4.10 which is apparently unique to the club cab and very hard to find..

    2004 crew cab 4x4 = 4.10

    2005-2006 crew cab 4x4 = 3.92

Awesome. The closest one I could find in your area was in that link. Still in VA.

Keep us posted on what you do.

Finding out lots I lived without knowing...2006 Crew Cab and also with or without limited slip also a factor. My garage has found one in FL and one in Michigan
and I guess will make their choice on Monday. When you have as much invested in your Gen One tundra as I do you figure the new installment is really a small
percentage of the total. I passed "in for a penny in for a pound" a long time ago. I think of this rust bucket as an old dog you keep taking to the vet and spending money on knowing it may only prolong life a short time. I never boasted of using my economics degree when it comes to this old girl.

    Beats a monthly payment though.

I am not sure about that. If Toyota reintroduced a Gen One model with all the modern bells and whistles but in its original size and configuration I suspect
I would be first in line and making a monthly payment.

I think my garage has limited savvy. Nice folks but not outside the box when it comes to this sort of job. They replaced the entire rear end with another Tundra rear end, easier for them but more expensive for me. I wish I had the savvy to diy but I don't.

If they have “limited savvy” on axle work, I hope they checked to make sure the right gears are in the donor, especially if it’s 4wd.
