And just like that, the Tundras.com Secret Santa program became corrupt.

Secret Santa snuck up on me while I slept and delivered this via email. Santa is tech savvy. Guess he has to be.

Dear Secret Santa, thank you so much for this. Drive around today in your sleigh feeling good that you did this for a total stranger (in person, not on the forum) and that it will be paid forward somehow.

Thank you all for putting this together and thanks for being awesome. This forum really is amazing and a lot of people overlook what goes on here on a daily basis. I read posts about people driving parts to the desert and people sending money for sick animals and secret Santa stuff to general mechanical help real time while a truck is on the lift.

    You don’t find that anymore.

Happy Holidays everyone! Merry Christmas. You all are really good people hiding behind sarcasm and silliness and that’s the best.

idk. On Amazon, I click the box advising it’s a gift.

    Nice!! That’s extremely generous!

Yeah, if shipping from Amazon I check the box for a gift and then you can write a message. They throw it in on a tiny little slip of paper that is easily missed unfortunately, I’ve missed one on more than one occasion and had to do some sleuthing to figure out who sent me something :notsure:

Now....to the interweb for more purchasing of SS gifts!

This. Put the recipient's address as both to and from. Or ship via North Pole Alaska and get a north pole postmark.

Just got a shipping notification from UPS, but it won't let me track the order like it typically does. I did order a couple things last night, but they're my usual parts websites that allow me to track.

Could it be Santa's sleigh is on it's way? I guess I'll find out on Friday

What did I get from Secret Santa????

    It’s from Indiana...

    D5E985B6-A61D-414F-A669-9D0817849A59.jpg

    it’s pretty huge...

    9250D01D-4506-4D05-BFA5-D7C5F2AC635B.jpg

it’s maybe a lifesize cutout of someone?

I vaguely remember talking to someone about a lifesize cardboard cutout of someone or something.

It was me. I was drunk Priming again.
I ordered a lifesize cardboard cutout of a fireplace.

Hope you got a good deal. Nothing like drunk ordering and then finding out you got ripped off. Did it come with a mantle?

I’m in the hospital with the beard(my significant other). I read Kevin’s post to him and showed him pictures.

“Look at this, Kevin’s drunk ordering on Amazon again. This is YOUR friend.”

    Safety first!
Wait, now, this is fuckin brilliant! I’m gonna stash that fire in the back of the truck and pull it out during fire bans. Just shine a flashlight at it and drink till we’re warm again.
It did come with a mantle! I have to put it all together and I’ll take pics tomorrow. It’s in the bathroom with the fan on because the fumes are noxious.
    :rofl::rofl::rofl:
Tell him I’ll send one to you guys when he’s back home.

Might as well share the good news, beard *should be* coming home within a couple days. Today is the 14th day in the hospital. Surgery was successful, no more infection, lung is doing well. He will need to rest for a while before heading back to work but I know the doggo and I will be glad to have him back home. I ain’t so good at single dog mom life anymore.

Moral of the story, be careful with pneumonia. Shit can progress and go insane.

Here’s a rare photo of the beard spotting me up an obstacle on Elvis Trail.

    CD3EDB05-C8FF-41E3-B698-0221BA50BDEA.jpg

And my wife displaying the results (of not being spotted earlier in the trail).

    E684FB89-FA7B-49F7-9C73-5298C9FD011A.jpg

This one time we were alone in my garage he let me touch his tool so I gave him a piece of my rear end.

I liked how his tip swiveled and I think he liked how my rear was tied up.

Another rare sighting of the beard on top of Four Peaks. He’s a bit of an attention whore - it’s hard to get a photo where he’s not the center of attention. Constantly waving around those giant red arrows.

And thanks to everyone who did the behind-the-scenes work to set this up.
