Looks damn perfect! This is probably the setup I'll take when the time comes for new tires (aka larger).

Bilstein 6112 front coilovers @2.5”. Bilstein 5100 rear shocks with toytec shackles @1”. 20x9. Xd grenade wheels with 295/60/20 ridge grapplers. Tinted windows. Gibson single side dual exhaust.
That looks killer. Just ordered the 6112s at 1.9. Ordered 275/70/18 terra grapplers. Going on my stock black 18s. Leaving the rear suspension alone for now since I sometimes park in garages at work.

    I wish I had done the 1.3" :(

I did the 1.9 because I was afraid the 1.3 wasn't going to be enough for the tire I was getting (297/70R17) but turns out the 1.3 would have been plenty.

I guess I'm weird but I think the Tundra looks much better with a little forward rake. My truck is pretty level at 1.9 but on an incline or a bunch of stuff in the rear I get that horrible cali/bro lean look that I can't stand.

I have some Toytec shackles that I can install but I'm honestly seriously considering taking the truck back to the shop and having the fronts dropped to the 1.3 setting

I've 285/60-20 on the 1.3 settings and the ride is awesome.

I don’t think I ever posted pics of mine finished. 6112’s @ 1.9 with 1 shim per side, 5160’s with CB +2 shackles, CB bumper shims, removed small front mud flap, and Icon rebound in bronze with 285/75/17 Cooper AT3 XLT’s. No rubbing anywhere.

How’s the ride on top settings? I got mine coming in to replace a spacer lift, debating about going 1.9 or top setting.

The ride is a little stiff, but I feel like they’ve softened some over the last 3 months. I have nothing else to compare the ride quality to on these other than the stock suspension, which that was totally improved otherwise. I hear it’s softer at the 1.9 setting, so maybe that’d be your preferred route if retaining some “plushness” is a concern.

If you want the height but retain the plushness, go 1.9 with 1 shim like I did. My dad was fully convinced I was ruining the ride when he came over and helped me install them. After a 3 hr ride in it to go fishing he couldn’t believe how smooth the ride was. I highly recommend going this route.

I would have to say that even a 2.5 the ride is way less harsh and more comfortable than the stock offload suspension.

Any idea what the largest size tire that can be ran set at 1.9" with TRD wheels. I've seen 295/70/18 with aftermarket wheels (post #119). 285/70/18 has been done (post #314).

I personally don't need lift, I only need larger tires. Trying to find the best way to accomplish that.

Depends on how much larger you need the tires and how willing you are to chop up the truck. Generally speaking, the best way to accomplish tires is going to be with a lift.

Any issues with rubbing or trimming on your set up? After a couple months do you still like the 285/70/18's?

Got my 275/70/18 terra grapplers today. I also changed my mind and asked boss to set my 6112s at 2.5 instead of 1.9 and to send me 5100s and toytec shackles for the back. Lol. . Now the question will be 1 or 1.5 out back. Maybe I’ll flip a coin.

If you plan to tow, then go 1.5. It’ll give you a little bit of rake.

Is it safe to say you can go with 6112 at (Top setting 2.5) with 5160’s out back w/ air bags and be good to go for towing?
Don’t have to add shims , UCA’s or shackles etc?

Sweet. I’ll be doing this setup in the next few weeks. Appreciate the feedback.

Airlift Load lifter 5000. They were on the truck when I bought it. They really do an amazing job. Way more stable towing.

No regrets at all. The shop had to trim the skid plate a little and that’s it. No rubbing at all. Very happy with the 285’s. From a dead stop I pulled my 1,400lb ski boat up a hill with wet grass from morning dew and it didn’t slip once in 2wd. Thought for sure I’d need 4 wheel high at minimum. Lost a little on the MPG’s but I wasn’t setting any records before these tires.

Looking for input: Should I instal 6112 @ 1.9 with 2 shims driver/ 1 shim passenger and 5160 with CB +2 now with 275/55/20 or wait 6 months until I go with 285/75/17?
