New Rotors & Brakes

    Hello, New to this Site! I just replaced my Front Rotors & Brake Pads, Feels better then before! But When I am Hitting about 60 MPH, and I hit my brakes it still Shakes! any Advice what to check from here... Thank you

    Welcome Frank!

    My Tundra would do the same thing and a wheel balance usually helped that. The Tundra is very sensitive to wheel balance.

    My Tacoma and Lexus are the same way.

    I would also get a road force balance.

    Ok, Thanks But wouldn't you feels something without hitting the brakes? If the wheels were out of Balance?

    Not always. If the wheel balance is off just a little, it makes a big difference.

    Just to verify, what brand rotors/pads did you put on? Was run out checked before installation?

    Bosch Rotors, and Duramax Gold Brake pads, Yes Rotors are true! I thinking maybe Lower Control Arm bushings?

    Do you have damage to any wheels? I agree that it's worth getting your tires rebalanced...

    Call your local tire shops. Not all of them have this technology.

    Ok, finally get my issue resolved! I ended up putting new rotors and new Dura last gold brake on my rear, still my truck shimmied as I applied the brakes so I went back and took my front rotors off and upgraded to a carbon steel new rotor on the front! I'll be damned if I didn't put them on and everything is back to where it should be! Thank you for all your input but I have learned sometimes buying something brand-new is not actually brand-new or correct, this was a pain in the ass as we all now taken the brakes on and off, but I thank you all for your input
