So I found one of my leaks is the brand new Toyota passenger side CV seal I replaced to be proactive when I replaced my CV shafts. Hopefully this one won’t leak.

Took out my subwoofer. Probably temporary but we'll see, I don't get the joy of driving my truck solo much anymore and my wife is quick to say too loud. I'm in favor of the extra space.

Crawled underneath and adjusted my brake proportion valve back down. Although it kept my truck from diving nose first I think it also increased braking distance.

Went ahead and changed out my diff fluid, I can't even remember the last time. Filled back up with Lucas and went for a short drive. Its surprisingly quieter now, the old fluid was pretty bad and had a bit of silver in it. Not concerned though, I believe that's remnants from when the diff went out long ago.

Give the axle breather a good clean and twist while you’re changing diff fluid, make sure it can vent properly!

Good call. I have run tubing up high in the bed with a free flow filter at the end. I do need to check on it but I'm sure it breathes well.

Just pulled the trigger on Skid Row armor. I only got the front and oil pan for now. I'll get the transmission skid later on. The oil pan skid is on backorder so we'll see how long this takes. Honestly, I'm most excited about oil changes without having to remove the skid plate. I'm a simple man. :homer:

I would highly recommend installing a Fumoto valve during your next oil change, if you haven’t already.

Nice! I have the oil pan skid on mine and it’s beef I’ve landed the whole truck on it a few times now.

You got a link to this? I hate hate hate that I have to remove that skid plate. I'd like it to not mess with those bolts any more than I have to, a few years of having lube guys do it has left those bolts and threads looking pretty nasty.

All these labor day sales and I haven't seen any Tundra stuff.

So tempted to press this button right now. My main concern is my x-member is kinda fucked from Hidden Falls Adventure Park.

Man, that's so blurry but it almost looks like your cart total is $1,144? Didn't think Skid Row even sold that much for our trucks. What are you looking at there?

Skid Rows BF deal and free shipping is hard to pass up. I would wait a few months and pay close to half.

F#$%... Wish I had known this earlier today. I assumed they didn't discount their stuff since they are literally the only company selling armor for our trucks. They own the market.

The skid row skid plate gives you full access.to the filter without removal of the skid.
Or we used to reach in from under the hood and change the filters when I worked at a local lube shop in college.
Then just spray and wipe down the skid after.

That was my thinking until last November when I saw they had everything discounted plus free shipping. $733 instead of $1224 was well worth it.

There’s plenty of room for a small catch pan placed under the filter during removal.

I can take a pic later to show.

Looks like this back Friday will be a repeat of last year. I bought ~$3550 worth of suspension, wheels and tires, but saved probably about $1k
I need skids.and bumpers. But I doubt I can save enough for a rear bumper in time for.black Friday. Plus it's so hard to pick one when none of them really suit my fancy. So all 4 skid row skids and brute force front bumper it shall be.

I eventually want long tubes as well. But I want to wait and see your set up and pick your brain. Everyone says go with dirty deeds and I want to eventually. But I never can get dirty deeds to answer all my questions. I'll be lucky to get a reply at all and if I do he always gives like half an answer.
