Bought this baby right off the truck at the dealer. Only put about 111k on her.

I'm pretty bad at taking pics.

They are fine. We have a fan that we plug in for them. I just wish my shell had slider windows.

Maybe you can replace. Just put a Softopper on and think my Aussie might like riding back there as long as the off roading is mild. Cheers. Love the Ray 10s.

Wow, some really nice Tundras here guys! I think mine is nice, but it sorta pales in comparison to some of your rides.

    tundra quartering 2 70%.jpg

She may not be as tricked-out as some, but she will be well cared for, as I am able. A few very minor dings along the way that speaks to a full life prior to my ownership, as she settles in with the old man and the easy miles of my retirement. But one thing is clear, she won't be sliding into oblivion, rather her better days are still before her as she receives the pampering she deserves, as I slowly upgrade her to better than new. My association with the likes of all of you and your rides, makes it easy to stay focused and inspired. Thanks for what has passed, and for what lies before me and Trixie.

Frikkin tundra owners and their frikkin huskys. At least one looks like a husky. As I type this my husky is screaming "let me in!" Which sound amore like "ahhhoooo aaahhhoooooeeee scratch scratch"

Huskys, one of the most beautiful dogs in my opinion and the dog with the strongest independence streak of any breed I have tried training. Very difficult dog to train, as this independence gets in the way - they would rather run and romp, making obedience training a real biotch. I have trained many dogs since my time in the Army, where I learned how, and no dog has been more of a challenge than the Husky. Don't get me wrong, they are a very loving and fun dog, they just have this wayward child attitude that says "no school for me". And yes, they can be taught the fundamentals, but don't expect them to obey every time as it truly goes against their spirited enthusiasm for playtime. I am a former Husky owner of some thirty years ago; Spirit was his name and he lived up to it every day until his passing. He was the sole dog that I was never able to count on as to being obedient at any given moment, but he was fun and my family loved him dearly, as I did. Huskys are a dog for the young who can keep up with them, or the older person with a large expanse of land to let them run and romp unfettered by rules.

Nailed it. My husky Leto will pause after an order, make eye contact, and then do it. He wants me to know he's only doing it because he wants to haha. Oh and when I tell him to do something he doesn't want to do, I certainly hear about it.

You are spot on. I'll never own another Husky but not because of their behavior. It's the shedding that kills me.

But our Husky is a bit of an anomaly in that she is pretty well behaved. We can't take credit for this. I believe we just got lucky. Most of the other Huskies I've interacted with are far worse. They are the most stubborn breed.

This is my favorite pic of our dog and sums up her personality. Did I mention she lays down to eat? She will leave a bowl of food for 2 days before deciding to eat it. She'll guard it the entire time though.

Even with a 2” lift it looks tiny next to a ‘19 F150.

Yes, and it is one of the reasons I now own one. I've had the 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton Chevy and Ford, built them up with 3" lifts, lockers, gun metal metallic paint, 33 and 35 inch tires, alloy wheels, the works and I was never really happy with the outcome. Toyotas keep catching my eye. So I went Jeep, tried to build it up but ran into too much grief keeping it running. And still had Toyotas on my mind. Dumped the Jeep and bought my current ride and have never been happier with my ride. She looks fine, drives like a luxury car as far as comfort, yet can get real serious when going off road. She's so much better on the MPG's and easy to maneuver in tight spots. She fits my world perfectly now that I don't have to haul horses and hay, and I can not envision myself ever going back to those big boats from Detroit. But the real reason I am so fond of my Tundra is how fine looking she is in her stock form. Very clean lines - a true classic look that no Chevy or Ford can reproduce, only the Ram comes close and I wouldn't own one of those if it was given to me. No, the Tundra 1st gen is and will remain the classic smaller truck, along side her less luxurious Tacoma brother. And she has the pedigree that can spin the odometer to a million miles if taken reasonable care of. That's a lot of truck when you really look at it.

The new f150 looks as big as the previous super duty generation. It's crazy how big they've gotten.

Wow, that is some serious green algae. I wonder how it is affecting your paint.:poking:

All kidding aside, you have a beautiful Tundra with a showroom pizazz! And the low miles are like finding gold in your garage.

I actually never really liked the green color, but maybe that's because I haven't seen one that was shiny like that in 10 years. I don't mind the green on that cherry tundra at all.

Is that a toy model in a diorama, or is it a real Tundra that has been Photoshopped? Too clean and straight to be real, and no license plate - got to be a toy. Or not.

That makes two perfect Tundras in a row. What's with all the showroom iron, today? They set the bar too high for us every day drivers to attain, no matter how hard we polish and buff. When these glorified "10's" come along, our previous 10's and 9's suddenly become 8's and 7's, at best. Yeah, Show Truck Sunday! Guess I'll just have to invest in a better buffer.

My Trixie has taken a shine to the green one.

None yet. After I put the drawers in the back it added about 300lbs. In person it sits slightly down in the back. New shocks are definitely next
