Biggest bite in an IPA I've ever had, but super tasty!

Shannon Brewery | Keller, TX.
Hazelnut Chocolate Stout
5.8 ABV | 31 IBU

Very smooth and creamy, very light for a stout (5.8 abv ).
Loads of chocolate and hazelnut. Its like drinking a nutella beer.

 

Haven’t researched it, but good to go

Aromas of hops. Very hoppy beer.

I enjoy them too, but this one is not at the top of my list for me personally. I like milkshake IPA’s

It tastes exactly like it sounds. Lots of strawberry, vanilla, and waffle cone flavors in a real light, easy drinking beer.

Pours smooth with very little lacing. Aromas of tangerine / oranges

Tastes of tangerine with a bit of a small sour kick at the end.

Solid beer on a hot day!

Hella Chela | Spicy Cerveza
5% ABV 13 IBU

Tangy Mexican-style beer with a nice hit of spicy! Fruity citrus undertones of what I think is orange.

From Karbach:
‘Chela’ means cerveza and ‘Hella’ means a lot, and in this case it adds up to a whole lotta taste. Hella Chela is a Tex Mex mash-up of citrus and spice that brings the heat at brunch, lunch, or whenever your bunch gets together. Enjoy our poquito picoso take on a Tex Mex classic.

Real light and sweet with a bright grainy finish.

Yes, it's a very small brewery that only distributes locally.

Totes Habaneros | Pineapple Mango Double IPA | 9%

Pours with little to no lacing.
Aromas of mango, pineapple and habaneros.

Tastes of habaneros and mango with a small hint of pineapple. Pretty much as described!

They also have a non habaneros available on tap.

 

Is it spicy? Or does it just taste peppery?

 

Meh. I didn’t refill. Went back to my Tangerine

 

Gotcha. That’s a bummer...
That Hella Chela I posted a couple back will be sitting in my fridge for a long time. Maybe peppers and beers ain’t meant to be

 

Theirs is good, but I definitely enjoy a creamsicle more.
They’ll be bringing by a couple of kegs in September to my place. ;-)
