    Tundra/sequoia front end conversion
I just purchased a sequoia tundra conversion vehicle. I just loved the look of this rig. What I’m wondering is how is this conversion going to affect the value.

It is a 2016 sequoia limited with what I’m learning in the middle of the night has a tundra front end. This has a rebuilt title so I know the value already has a hit on it but maybe by adding the tundra front end it will equal out...

I’m curious of everyone’s thoughts on this because honestly as much as I love it I’m having a bit of buyers remorse because I am worried about resale in the future having a rebuilt and a tundra front end.
The dealer did mention the front end replacement, however he did not mention it was a tundra front end and I am just researching like a mad woman on why Iv never seen one like this before. I absolutely love the look of this thing so much drove it and bought it.
I paid 35k and it has 44 thousand miles on it.

Looks very nice. You should be fine with resale value. It has many features that are worth it.

Several people have done the conversions. I myself recently bought a Sequoia to do the conversion and just decided to keep it original. Sounds like you got a decent price like others have said enjoy the vehicle. There is a market for Sequoias with this conversion so I wouldn’t worry about it.

Rebuilt title. Definitely affect resale, insurance and trade in value.

    I like the conversation though.

I like the truck front end much better than the plain SUV front end. You did great!

If you drive this to the 200,000 mile mark, the resale is the same as a clear titled vehicle.

Looks like they did a pretty clean job on the conversion, at least in the pictures. Just drive it and enjoy it.

Who knows, the vehicle might keep you.

What does rebuilt title actually mean? Was it in an accident and they decided to go this route when rebuilding?

It gives me all the right feels! I think I may add flares and a baby lift/black wheels light bar. It’s got a good custom start so why not.

Yes it was a left front end collision so when they rebuilt it they gave her the sex change! Sweeet! Much more fitting for my life in boonies

Like others said, the rebuilt title is what will change your resale. They decided to do something awesome when they replaced the front end parts, which is exactly what I would have done. Everything should fit fine and it looks unique and in my opinion, awesome.

    Enjoy your new ride!

Got it. Obviously that may reduce the value but I don’t think the sex chance will much. I think you should drive it and enjoy it!

I think it looks badass. It's what they should have done with it in the first place. Me and the wife will be replacing my 03 Sequoia soon. We agreed this will be the first thing we do to it.

As long as the miss match fender arcs don't bother you, I'd say it's a win.

Anyone have a how to guide on this? Is it difficult? There are lots of used sequoias around here for cheap.

A "rebuilt title" is placed upon a rebuilt or reconstructed vehicle that previously was a salvage vehicle but has now been repaired and restored to operation.
