Huge mod today LOL added some 2x10’s to help me keep things organized. It’s more for when I load the truck up, that way I’ll have options if I want to take the boards out or what. Just to keep stuff from shifting. I relocated my extendable ratchet bar to put tension on the boards to keep them from rattling. DA4BFD47-65E7-49DC-A858-D6D45F1A8DBD.jpg B7DCC6F8-7948-4903-A455-52D87CB4AD31.jpg F03F8F64-A01C-461E-8A83-03C1DFC08040.jpg F6C8CA18-135A-4EF7-AFD5-6E9743502FB3.jpg
Next project will be modifying the bracket for my water port. It sits above the bed rail so I wouldn’t be able to close my bed cover. I think I need to lower it about 3 inches+. Probably get some 1/4”-3/8 flat stock and make a drop bracket soon.

I did absolutely nothing to my truck today. But I did just get in some of the goodies, still waiting on more. Here’s a bit of a tease.

I was looking at you're set up for the Scosche and looked it up on their website. Do you think that would work on the 19, I cant seem to find a difference in the cabin area.

Technically it happened on the 4th very sad day, traded the truck for a 2019 Rav4 HV.
    https://www.tundras.com/attachments/img_1894-jpg.304980/?temp_hash=d445fb7399454c1feeeaaf2ef4e4b5ca

With traveling for work, and the girlfriends right arm out of commission due to rotator-cuff/bicep surgery and the mileage, I could see no way around it. Don't get me wrong, the Rav is a nice zippy comfortable SUV and I am averaging 44-47 mpg, but I'll miss the big V8 and sitting up high.
Oh well life goes on. This forum has been the absolute best collection of Tundra owners and I want to thank you all for letting me participate!

Did some little odds and ends this morning.

Got the side steps back on for my mini-me, hooked the CB up to only come on with the ignition, and traced down the problem with the ditch lights.
Not bad for a couple hour Sunday morning project.

    Ok.

    For parts I used
    Pin
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001TQPM6Q

    Led wiring
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00QTCBZ4I

    Led strip
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00YXBEHQK

I mounted the pin on my frame so when the hood closes it will push the pin down. The pin is connected to ground Soo when the hood comes down it causes a open circuit. When the hood open it will complete the circuit.

I ran the wire by the firewall I just used some strong tape to secure it. Hide the cables under the plastic fender cover.

Sorry if my write up sucks, I'm doing it on my phone.

Check out the ones from RTIC. They are running a decent deal on them right now too, plus this one is Houston themed:

Hahahahaha I love them too! I carry it because it’s cheap and I don’t have to worry about it. But at the same time I don’t want to lose it because I like it so much! The one in the blue canvas next to it is an old Eddie Bauer chair that I bought at target about 20 years ago. It still works and has proven to be better than most collapsible chairs I’ve had.
