You all here and on Tundratalk have been so helpful and awesome with recommendations on a Platinum or SR5 4X4, in the end with my daughter finishing up grad school and living with us, well family had to come first in regards to budget! I figured I could get the best for my money by modding as it permits!

Thanks all of you class acts here!

I would like to know if this is a good deal, the shop quoted

OK the 6112 bilstein kit has A 1.9'' setting that will allow you to make the front all most level with the rear with out touching the back. you still may be a 1/2'' low but that would be about it.

    6112 732.43
    5160 ea 221.25 ea
    labor 175.00
    alignment 95.00

    1450.00 + tax

    on a 2017 Tundra SR5 4X4 CM,

I want to level up the front with the stock rear, kinda like the PRO sit level! I want an aggressive stance and look, the tires I want are either Methods or Fuels with BFG KO2 or TOYO AT's.

With the above suspension and level, what would be the biggest tire with minimal poke, I'm torn between the 18 and 20" rims but do like a bit more tire then rim look!

    Any help or opinions, thanks

    San Antonio, here!

Can't help on the pricing but, I went with a 20" rim and I regret it. Will be switching back to an 18 when the budget allows.

Thank, that helps a lot, the shop guy said the ride would be better on the 18"s so I'm leaning 18!

May I ask why you regret the 20's, he told me the younger gen folks are wanting 20's being thats the trend now and they sell 20's by 50-1 over the 18's

I do like the looks of a 20" wheel but my next will be a 18". Truck looks good! Anxious to see it built up.
The 20's ride a little rougher and the tires are generally more expensive than tires for 18" wheels.

    Less sidewall on 20"
    Bigger tire = more $
Go 17-18" and get 35" on a 3" suspension

Just like more tire than rim. And like Sean said, 20" tires are more expensive.

    Thanks

would this be a good set up and adding shackles!

I would set it higher than 1.9 , just my opinion. There putting the 295/70/18 on the pro's with the 2" suspension. I'm going with 6112's myself, but I'm maxing them out @ 2.75"
