Installed some VLED V3 Triton 3157CK in red.
The red is deeper and brighter than the oem halogens. The LED's fill the housing well unlike the cheap LED's that do not.
I would say they are 25% brighter but the what I really like is the instant on/off of LED's
    http://www.vleds.com/shop-bulb-numbers/3157-3156-led/v3-kit-r-3157ck.html

Driver side is the VLED and passenger is still oem on both pictures. Kept the camera on manual with same settings for both shots.

So after, driving about 1,000 miles on the new suspension/wheels/tires I wanted to do another quick review. The ride is actually better than stock, most likely due to the bigger sidewall of the 18's and taller/bigger tire. Even the wife noticed a much more compliant ride on-road. Have yet to take it off-road and have no immediate plans to at this time. Have no regrets getting spacers(since this truck see's mainly concrete and asphalt). Once my shocks do wear out, I will def be going to coilovers though. Just to have an upgrade on ride quality.

I also recently made new measurements of my suspension lift to show how much lift I got after everything settled.

Just to recap my suspension setup
    • Front - LRO 3" spacer w/ stock shocks
    • Rear - CB +3 Shackle w/ stock shocks
    • 18x9+12 with 305/65/18 Falken Wildpeak AT3
Measurements from center hub to bottom of my Bushwacker Fender flares are:

    FL : 24.11" FR : 24.50"
    RL : 24.89" RR : 24.89"

So as you can tell i have about a 1/2"-3/4" Rake on the truck with this setup.
I have the lift numbers from before my lift but unfortunately those are before my bushwackers so the measurements will not be accurate. I think the bushwacker fenders sit a tad bit lower than the oem fenders. If anyone can confirm, that would be great to know.

@ReCKzX No they are not. I just put them on straight from the box. I will get some quotes to color match and do it once funds permit. I actually do not mind the contrast at this time but I'm sure it will eventually be color matched.

Gotcha. It was hard to tell. They look good, but I think they would look better colormatched.

Nothing but positive. The way it was before I would have sold the exhaust. I couldn't stand the drone. This exhaust actually sounds really good chopped after the axel.

I really wanted the flares color matched but did not want to pay to have them painted so I just slapped them on.
They actually look better than I though they would. I think if my truck was white it would be different.

Agreed, generally I like em un-paint matched if the pickup is a dark color.

Sorry Dustin I saw this a little late... but hopefully this picture will help others following this thread and answer some trimming questions.
I trimmed part of the metal fender at an angle and the plastic fender also the CMC. No rubbing with 35" with18x9 +18 offset.

    AJT Design aluminum fob case
I couldn't decide red or black so I bought both =)
Constructed very well. Red one is machined finish and black is matte. I prefer the matte between the two but both are very nice.

Are those fob cases smaller or lighter than the original Toyota, really wish the original was smaller!

It's about the same size but it is more square than the oem unit. I'll take a comparison photo later.

+ they are a little heavier due to being aluminum. But not heavy by any means.

Thanks. I'm planning on getting the Boss kit once my shocks wear out.

I'm looking for some high clearance steps. Was looking at the NfAbs but they look like they hang pretty low. First option at this time are the gorhjno rb10's.

I have not yet changed any of my signals. Rule of LED signals are, you do need resistors if you will be going LED's. I almost bought some LED signal bulbs from VLED's but I bought other stuff instead. So LED signals will have to wait for now.

How is your reception compared to the OEM one. I've been contemplating one of these but don't want to lose range.

it is definitely shorter but still very usable. I measured about 8-9 stall spaces away it worked so I'm guessing thats about 100ft away. I will try to measure the distance a little better but so far it hasn't bothered me. If I had remote start, it may bother me but for unlocking/locking the truck, it's good enough.
