Not that I was looking but came across some Obx shorty headers part # 14655405QL1520
The guy said they fit a 5.7 Tundra 07-09.
I can't find much information on them but I'm wondering if they might fit a 2014?
At 150 bucks for stainless headers, might buy em to try at a later date.
Anyone know if these might fit?

Not sure of the answer but I'm sure you wouldn't loose at that price hell I would even buy them if you have to sell them.

You will lose low end torque but gain mid to high

The only shorty header i would pick is the doug thorley tri-y shorties they make 29hp and 46lb torque at 3300rpm starts power from 2000 to 3500rpm

I’ve tested this theory. Unfortunately you lose low end torque but don’t gain anything at the track or on the dyno:(

But, if you had a leaky/cracks exhaust manifold this is a very cost effective fix, if you didn’t care about low end torque loss.

Thanks for the replies..seeing as my truck is a 14, I'll most likely pass on them. Should be a while before I have manifold issues and with a possible loss in low end torque and at best a null performance gain...doesn't seem like something I need.
Should take the money and put it aside for muffler upgrade.
    Thanks again

You tested the jba or dt shorties on the 5.7? I know in the past i had an 1995 f150 5.0 and put shorty headers really pick up some power well of course it had H/I/C so it was a good combo..

Our truck isn’t an f150. We have dual vvti. Where the f150 has a single cam with no vvti and horrific manifolds.

With vvti, when the cam phasing goes into valve overlap, if there isn’t the correct amount of scavenging in the exhaust system you actually get reversion. At that time it’s less efficient than the f150’s motor.
