Yes that's a good point but I didn't know he searched specifically for this topic before I made my comment. For some reason seeing all these gas mileage threads on here all the time annoys me a little. I think we all knew the 13/17 mpg when purchasing.

Gaining a few mpg somehow, or losing more due to heavy 35" tires is only worth a couple hundred bucks, at most, per year unless you drive much more than 12k miles. Many here spend way more than that on mods plus it's already a $40k vehicle. I just don't get the mpg obsession that goes on here.

I live in the sierras, I get 10-11 on average. Mostly up and down hills. Im on STT pro 35s. My neighbor is running 37s on his crew max and he says he gets 13. His truck is a little newer, and he might be geared.

    Just lights for now
I keep my eye on the gas meter instead to make sure I don't go below 3/4...it hurts to look at the MPG so i don't look at it. I carry CC instead of cash thus my wallet is lighter when having to pump gas...:spending:

I get between 12-13 on my 2013 crewmax with 4:30 gears and 305/55/20 nitto ridge grapplers.I also live in the mountains in Tennessee.I thought about going with 35's next time with the idea that taller tires my raise my gear ratio and help my mileage,?
