Factory wheel offset

Hey, I'm trying to find out what the offset is on the factory trd alloy wheels from a 15. I'm thinking about getting Zone UCAS and they have a five inch minimum or was that maximum. Guess I'll have to look at their website again.

Thanks law, I just found it. So, that's what, about 2.3 inches? Zones website actually only talks about the backspacing. They don't specify minimum or maximum. Just says 6 inch. Do you know what the bs on the factory trd rims is?

 

Backspacing is 6.8". Factory wheels (depending on which wheel you went with but factory 18's are usually 8" factory 20's are usually 9") Backspacing all depends on wheel width. Backspacing on a 9" rim wouldn't be the same on a 10" aftermarket

What size wheel did you go with? (18's or 20's)

 

They're the black and polish 18" from a 15 trd. So if they are 6.8 BS, they won't work with the zone UCAS, without spacers. I had 1.25 inch spidertrax on my 2000. Didn't have any problems with them, but they are a pain anytime you want to work on the brakes. Maybe I'll have to look at other UCAS.

 

Yeah they're 6.8 backspace. Just get some wheel spacers, that should solve it.

But honestly, you won't need UCA's until a 3.25 lift. I have a 3/1 and factory UCA's

Although, I'm about to invest in a BOSS suspension upgrade, I'll most likely set the suspensions to 3" and get aftermarket UCA's a few months later.

 

I know, but the truck only has 23K on it, almost all highway. 10K with two inch spacers and the upper ball joint joint boots are seeping. Guess I can just run it like that or try new boots. That would save money and time.

 

I have zone UCA's on factory 20's and a 3/1 lift, it's close. Probably would rub on 12.50's but currently running 275/55/20 and there is still plenty of space

 

Haven't had any problems with mine. I'd say either get new UCA's and some spacers or aftermarket wheels.

 

I think you'll clear the arm, my 20's are +60 as well.

 

Yeah but the factory 20's are 9" wide if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks ard, I'll check that out in a bit. Got the alignment done again, it looks and drives better. But they still didn't get it to the +0.1 0.2 is better though. But look at the before and after from today and the after from Sat! What the hell. They are telling me that positive and negative camber are the opposite of what I see online. They told me that positive is when the top of the wheel is leaning in toward the engine.

 

I've got an appointment with stevinson toyota in a couple weeks to get the zero point calibration done. I'm going to have to take Sean and Brian's advice and get Jace over there to dial it in.
