@NomadicFrog my bad. I just realized you were asking for sway bar bushings. I linked the steering rack ones.

I got prothane kit on Amazon. 18-1118 is the part number.

    A follow up on this.

Got my rear bumper from Rock Auto. I was expecting just the metal bumper skin, because that's what the photo showed. (Part number TO1102230)

What I got was the bumper skin, the big center frame support that mounts to the hitch (you can see it's already bolted to the outer bumper in the pic on the left), two frame mounts, plastic step and center pads (with the three circular plugs), light sockets with bulbs, and all the hardware! It appears they sent me part number TO1103108 which includes all those things, and cost $184 -- although I don't see a part number on anything I have.

While I got all new plastic steps pads, I reused my OEM parts because the new parts were a more brittle plastic -- in fact, some of the tabs were broken in transit. I also reused my OEM frame cross member and frame mounts because I had just stripped them and coated with POR-15 -- and I trust Toyota steel and POR-15 more than I trust cheap Chinese steel and primer. I also reused all the mounting fasteners because they were in pretty good shape and Toyota bolts are very good quality, I presume the supplied bolts are not.

I got my Poly style sway bar kit from wheeler's. It's called their "Anti-Sway Kit". Make sure you select the correct one as it does have specific model years. I like the set I installed on mine. Also includes all 4 front bumpstops should you desire to swap those out as well.

Yeah, but it was good to see you mentioned those for the steering rack - that's the one I had selected, so it's nice to see I picked the right one.

Good, thanks. I had put my specific vehicle in Amazon's system, and it gives me a warning that "This product does NOT fit your vehicle." so I wasn't sure. (But I realize Amazon's system isn't foolproof.)

Are those polyurethane? The Wheeler's page doesn't specify.

I used the Moog ones, probably not the best but for $7 and as easy as they are to change they work.

Dropped my truck off at the shop for a major maintenance overhaul as well as to get the DDI injectors installed. Fluids and labor is nearly $1700. Should be ready by Friday. I can't wait to feel the difference.

    Here's everything getting done:
Drain n fill ATF, front and rear diff oil, transfer case oil, PCV, fuel injectors, timing belt n water pump, t-stat, spark plugs, tire rotation, lube grease fittings

Sure I could have saved money and done 3/4 of this stuff myself, but I only get one night off a week and I'd have to buy a fluid catch and a pump for the trans fluid, then jack stands for the rotation. Plus I was spoiled by working in a shop when i was younger. After having a pit and a lift, laying on my back on concrete on my only day off isn't very appealing. Especially when there is plenty of work to be done around the house.

BFF sliders should show up in about a month. I think I'll be buying front and rear bumpers around Black Friday

@because_v8 yeah, it's hard going back to a driveway after using a lift. That's not a bad price for that much work either.

One of the jobs I did on my daily I was lucky enough to use a lift and a fork lift lol.
    20190517_094835.jpg

Hard to see but we stuck square tube on the fork to extend and catch the rear beam. Wish I took more pics but it was one of those days where I didn't think of my phone much.

I've been trying to come up with a way to get a few things off the floor of my truck bed, primarily my fish rods for pulling network cable. The storage tubes keep getting broken. I also wanted a way to mount a fire extinguisher or two and maybe a few other things. I actually bought a nice aluminium truck bed rack I could easily modify, but it seemed ashame to cut it up and it was way more robust then I needed. I don't have much metal fabrication experience, then I realized ABS pipe would probably suit my needs. Here is Ver. 1.0

P0441 and p0445 came back on this morning. I just deleted them again. My inspection isn't due for a few months, so I'll cross that bridge once my bank account recovers a little lol

Also removed the v8 emblem from grill and painted it white today

It's on. Fit like OEM. I re-used my factory frame cross member, factory frame mounts, and all three factory plastic step/caps. Everything lined up perfectly and was dead nuts on.

Not much to see but here it is on the truck. I went with the Duplicolor Truck Bed Coating rather than Liner because I felt I didn't need the abrasion resistance and didn't really care for the textured look with the sand or whatever they add to it for texture/grip.
It goes on easy, and seems to coat really well. Only time will tell how it holds up. My confidence is pretty high that it will last.

Thats a good price for all that work. Island pricing would be double. Your truck will be like new, but better.

Nice work. Did you actually have to screw it into the fibterglass or is it resting on the rails? It looks like it was professionally done.

It's just resting on the rails. Gravity seems to hold it in place. The extensions on the front bottom keep it from sliding forward. The top cross rails are bolted to the sides so it can be removed. If it moves too much i can put velcro strips where it meets the rails & it should keep it in place. Works so far.

Hmm looks like the route I’ll
Go. I used the bed coating from duplicolor on my fender flares on my taco. Came out great, was planning on it for the bumpers

I bought this 12 piece grease gun kit today in hopes that one of these attachments will work on the 4x4 zerks since I've never been able to grease them. If it doesn't work I'll just return it.

It has great reviews on Amazon and I like the fact that it comes with a case.

If those don’t work, then do this. Its the only option I’ve seen to make it happen. A regular grease tip grinded down to fit that awkward spot. It must be inserted at the proper angle.
