bullydog error 525

has anyone gotten the error code 525 and how did you fix it

 

Were you loading a tune when you got it?

 

it goes to yellow warning screen thats says dont turn off unless instructed then you click continue then it says unlocking and then i get the error code

 

Check your battery voltage. If it’s below 12.1v put it on a charger and try again.

 

it stays at 13.4v

 

You might wanna call Bully Dog while you're installing. Keith at Dirty Deeds recommended I do that.

I cannot remember if I had that same code, I even had the tech on the phone when it came up. If it is the same code you will hate the repair which is pull the ECU and send it to derive system so they can plug into it and fix it. Good part is you send it out and you will get it back 2 days later. They sent shipping info so they get ASAP, they fix and return.
Once back you reinstall and off you go.
It sucks but they are fast.

 

UPDATE: so i called bullydog and what i was doing wrong was when it said turn to run position i would start it but they told me do start it just turn it to on thx you guys for the help much appreciated

 

Also recommended to have your truck on a charger when I initially downloading the tune.
