Custom Build Tubing 3.5 with 3.7 Trd Intake 2014-2019 with Turbo Head Shield Air Filter, Jet Performance MAF, Throttle Body Spacer With Econoaid Throttle Body Booster Gasket. Exhaust 2.5 Cherry Bomb 7841 single with dual Side frame exit or in front of the rear passenger tire. Pedal Commander plug in play for the gas pedal. Last is leveling kit 3-1 front and rear with 32-33 MT tires.
Between these two muffler... Which one would be the most quiet. I'm going to be replacing my cherry bomb and go with either one of these two. However on everyone opinion which one has the last effect on power but has the quiet tone. Both of these are 22"-23" long so I'm looking for the best option, even though it's not a name brand but this will do for daily driving. My current one that is on my piping is a cherry bomb, The replacement of the cherry bomb and why. the plate inside has broken off from the weld so it moves around inside unless I take it off and pry it to a corner. During the afternoon to late noon the sounds is not to loud but during at nite it has the loudness where I tend to not like it. This apply on the street, however on the freeway/highway at 65-80mph it's not loud at all. This makes me feel like I'm inside a little Honda with loud exhaust and trying to not tapped the pedal so I won't be pulled over. I'm currently unclear of the loudness because the cherry is the dual 6"-7" and it has the side exit so this makes the piping shorter. But anyways back to the two muffler which one would you go with... Both muffler from the outside is the same however the inside is what different.
This is how the muffler looks outside

Given my experience building tundra exhaust since 2003 I can honestly tell you that a muffler with baffles, or walls inside of it will lose power over stock unless the muffler body is as big, or bigger than stock.

Look into designs mkre like Borla or magnaflow. Obviously I’m biased to Bamufflers. But there’s a reason that our mufflers are a flow thru design with perforated core.

When you call Bamufflers you talk to me, the engineer. With experience of building literally thousands of tundra exhust, and experimenting with hundreds of prototypes on tundras, I’m happy to share knowledge first, and sell exhaust second.
