That's a heck of a story on a memorial date for sure. Nothing wrong with starting a new tradition! Glad your brothers still around! You'll have to thank him for new tradition he helped start

    I’m with you bro, 100%!
Having worked construction in AZ for 40 years, I don’t like sunshine very much. Gray, drizzly, misty days make me feel alive.

So, here’s the new Conex. A little 10’er tasked with protecting an emergency backup generator and some storage.

About that time for a nice 4hr drive up to Ashland... stay the night with the dogs and hit up the DMV in the morning and back down to Cali. The joys of people screwing up the registration and living out of state.

Wish I could find someone to watch the dogs, would make this a whole lot easier.

Been thinking about getting a Conex. Not sure which would cost more, the container or the delivery.

It’s a pretty fluid thing. Depends on the distance for the haul.
A 40’er cost me 3K delivered, this 10 cost me 2,100 delivered. Cost for a can varies based on condition. Brand new (1 time use) is most, typically 5K for a 40’er
All you can do is call and ask. Any way you look at it, it’s a better deal than a Home Depot tough shed.

Yeah. Its all about location. If i get one, it will be a retired one. Nothing fancy needed for temp storage and wind break.

It is actually going to be a real Friday for me today. I work the ship yards so weekends are rare. Hope everyone gets their 3 days and has fun. I will be camping and taking a shot at drift fishing this weekend.

Cant complain the rain helps reduce the pollen count Denver was shoveling snow this past week and the East coast will be baking this weekend. Wish all enjoy the holiday weekend, please keep safety in mind and be careful. Prayers go out to the family for the fall incident near Neahkahnie mountain this week, so also ask the kids to be mindful and careful as well on trail and/or off road ventures.

15 minutes in/out of the Ashland DMV this morning. I think it's a record. They said the line around the Methford one was 40 people or more by 8am

Its a little late...but Good morning back at you.
Thank goodness the rain held out just enough to get my buddies M3 detailed. Turned out great and we decided not to clay it that after the wash the paint was still smooth. So wash, VSS and some Blacklight. Final product

Now I got our Monday brunch covered....and maybe a new side gig as well. Hope everyone has a good and safe weekend.

Oh I am!!! Im in the middle of a weight cut that just got derailed over this weekend. So all I am eating is meat and drinking water.:fingerscrossed: I don't go to far off track. Last year when we were there a guy by himself had sweatpants and a leather vest on with a Chuck Liddell mohawk. I need a haircut and a vest .

That place must attract the weird vest crew. When we went there, we saw a rather large woman wearing a legit fishing vest. It was peculiair.

:rofl:The only vest I have is my weight vest for working out....probably shouldn't wear that because its actually a pretty current flak jacket with plates in it. Maybe a pit stop at Good Will see what they have.

Good afternoon. Doing pretty good so far. Made it to some friends of ours kids softball tournament in Newberg. 2nd game finished just as it started to rain. Now in like an hour we are going to have a bbq for them watching our kids after school while the in-laws were out of town.... more of a taco party I guess as we are having carne asada, ground beef and carnitas. I decided to make a batch of fresh salsa yesterday so that’s been in the fridge just calling my name.

My weeds are coming in great this year.
I need to go get some crossbow and just kill everything.
