So I’m sure in the next couple of years Toyota will be refreshing the Tundra. What are you guys thinking they’ll add or change? I’m hoping for Apple CarPlay and Android auto capabilities. And improved gas mileage.

    1) update the infotainment to at least where the rest of the Toyota models tech is. Think Avalon( smart key, updated nav/android/apple compatibility) ability to completely disable the tss lane departure shit without havign the dash light up like a Christmas tree
    1b) heated/ cooled seats
1c) update the center console to have the option for a fridge like high end suv
    1d) underseat rear storage(crewmax) behind seat storage(crewmax)
    2) updated drivetrain. As much as I love my v8 a smaller displacement forced induction engine with 10-12 speed transmission. Think power and fuel efficient
    3) update the seating in the truck ( I don't find my seat to be all that comfortable on longer trips.
    4) ability to get the creemax with a 6.5 foot bed.
    (Probably my most important request)
    5) I know it will never happen but I'd like to see a 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck with diesel option. Same requests as above. Minus the forced induction gas engine

V8 with more power to destroy the competition out of the water with Higher payload and towing numbers across the board.
I also want them to keep the 4:30 gears and not make the powertrain feel like the current Tacoma. (no offense Tacoma owners just not a fan of the 3.5 powertrain in that truck)
A diesel option for those that need and like posted above a 3/4 ton for those that need it but I as well do not think they will do that route.

EDIT: I like the V8 engine noise in the cab so don't muffle it too much. :)

quiet down the clatter of the 5.7
improve the stock exhaust sound. (iow catch up to GMs 5.3 from more than a decade ago on sound and NVH)
    comfortable seats
    remote start
a stereo that sounds as good as the LTZ chevy.

    1. Fix bed bounce
    2. 8-10 speed transmission
    3. Fix issues with TSS
    4. Electric motor assist

All other technology is not needed. It's a truck not a soccer mom van.

At this point diesel is a waste of time. Tundra is already behind in powertrain technology. It needs to be an electrically assisted motor. Idk why everyone wants diesel, they're expensive as hell to work on, they fail more frequently (in consumer 1/2t trucks), costs more to maintain, costs more to fill up..all for a marginal increase in torque and maybe a few MPG. Not worth it.

I know this won't happen, but a manual transmission option would be great. And a real LSD, not a simulated one like we have now.

Would like to see Auto drive like the newer Gm trucks. Shouldn’t have to put my truck in 4 wheel derive for slush and little snow. No wheel spin with it.

You’ll be getting push button start and Apple CarPlay and Android auto with the 2020 refresh. Heated and cooled seats? What do you mean? Do you mean on lower trims? Already have heated on Limited and heated and ventilated in the Platinum and 1794. They do need to add heated to the TRD Pro. Stupid to offer leather seats that aren’t heated these days.
