Does anyone know who makes 40” light bar bumper mounts?

I’ve been searching left and right and only found 30” mounts. Diode Dynamics has their own lightbar kit but I wanted to go with a Rigid setup.

Please don’t drill me if I didn’t search hard enough. Lol

Made my own L brackets, very easy. E-series 40".

I'm an idiot, you said bumper.

I think rigid makes a set, let me look.
Another edit, it's a 30 as well...maybe make your own?

If you are talking about the space in the bumper, you can fit a 40" bar, but you will have to make the brackets. Photo of a 40" baja designs bar (not my truck)

Yup, that’s what I’m talking about. I should have been more clearer on my post, my bad.

Appreciate it man. 40s fill that whole space, but 30s seem to be a bit more common because of the availability of parts.

I know those brackets have a left and right side when installed. I wonder if I can flip those to the other side and maybe gain a few inches to cover the difference?

27.00 bucks ain’t bad to try out. Lol. But it’s still 27.00 bucks that could go to beer if it doesn’t work. o_O

I had the Rago brackets for a 30" bar back when i had the stock bumper, the brackets mount to the studs that the bumper mounts too. There are 3 studs on one side and 1 stud on the other side, so that is why there is a left and right bracket
To fit the 40" bar i am pretty sure you will have to trim the plastic piece that is in that opening.

I don’t mind trimming or taking the small plastic grill out. Even with removing that, the brackets are set at a width for a 30” bar.

I’ll call Diode Dynamics and see if their brackets will work for other after market lights. But I think their kit is a 42” light bar? I’ll keep y’all updated. Lol

I just figured that to make these work for a 40”, you just need to figure a way to mount them without using the holes in the bumper, make new holes or something, there’s space for days behind my 2nd gen bumper

The DD one accommodates a 40in bar, but from my experience the mounts weren’t very sturdy and suffered from some serious vibration issues and the light pattern from the bar was jumping all over the place

That’s nice to know bro. Appreciate the heads up. We’re going to make this work. Lol

I’m really wanting to do the Rigid Midnight Edition Light bar and ditch lights. We’re definitely going to make this work. :fingerscrossed:

I have a 42" behind the grille and a 30' in the lower bumper opening. I just modified the mounts that came with the 30" bar.

Is your bottom bar behind the insert? And what brackets did you use? Looks like a double row light bar also

Yes and yes. I had to cut the tops off the brackets that came with bar and drill new holes for the bolts. I lost the little ridges in the mount but no big deal. Just tightened down good.
