This is my 2016 TRD Off Road SR5 that I bought new back in 2016. Finally time to start doing some mods. The only mods so far are the TRD grille and hood bulge, and a Truxedo LoPro tonneau cover. Trying to eventually black out the whole truck but it will take some time. I’ll keep updating as the truck progresses!

I’d say one is more greater than the others though.

I ended up buying the pre painted front and rear bumper covers from Sparks In Attitude black which is unfortunately the black color they offer and my truck is 202 Onyx black.... so I prepped them for paint, had some 202 mixed up and sprayed them with 2 coats of base and 3 coats of 2k urethane clear. I just have to finish wet sanding and buff and polish.

Got some work done yesterday, rigid fogs installed, 2019 TRD Pro headlights installed and wired, front and rear bumper covers installed! It was a looooong day in the rain but I got it all done! Would like to give a shout out to Ihacker for the wiring Harness which worked out flawlessly, and also tanabersx for the brackets and hardware for the rigid fogs!

Very nice. Couple questions for helpinging get through my paralysis prior to purchase.
    1. How's the truck ride compared to prior to shocks? Have a trailer and I want more damping, but don't want to hurt when not towing.
    2. What's your impression of the rigid fogs regarding light output and beam cutoff etc.? Also, why the extra harness/mount? Does it not bolt to bezel like non trd fogs?

    Looks great, brother.

Thanks! With the Fox 2.5’s in the front it rides a little stiffer than the stock shocks, but not much. I have not had time to put the rear shocks on yet but I will let you know how they feel when I get some run time on them. The Rigid fogs are a night and day difference from the stock halogen fogs!! The lights I installed are the SAE compliant lights so they have a definitive cutoff that doesn’t blind the oncoming traffic. The extra harness is an adapter to go from the Rigid connection to the stock Toyota connection. These lights do not mount directly to the bezel. For the Rigid fogs that mount to the bezel like on the 2019 Pro it is $800. I’m in this whole set up for less than $300, it just takes some labor to mount them.

Look at a thread on here by a member called tanabersx called DIY TRD PRO Fog Lights Brackets. He can sell you the brackets with hardware and all other part numbers and links are in that thread. It also shows you how to install. That’s where I got all my info.

Damn the build is looking good, all black double cabs are my weakness! Love the gratification that every step toward blacking out gives you.

I vote get some scs sr8's instead of painting the stock rims.

I forgot to post the pics of the truck with the new wheels and tires. Picked up these TRD Pro Wheels from a guy in NJ. (Thanks Borgs for the tip) and had new KO2 285/65/18 tires mounted. Finally happy with how everything looks now! Only other thing I’ll add at some point will be a new exhaust
