    Hello
    First post hereD9D97A72-B70C-4B56-9B22-0415510A05D5.jpg
    I have a 02 tundra xtra cab 2wd with 125000 miles
Truck is in nice shape only drivin on highway.
I occasionally tow a cargo trailer at about 3000lb
Thinking about new shocks and struts...
What brand is recommended here for a great ride?

Welcome. Based on your set up and occasional towing you should consider the Bilstien 5100 set up. I’ve had them on my truck for about 9 months and love them for city/tow/haul. Off-road they may be stiff. Road driving they are sporty.

There are other options out there for way more $$$ and the decision making process may be confusing.

Check out the ‘What have you done’ section for some ideas.

That's really nice for an 02! Definitely look at the 5100's.. You can find deals if you shop around.

If I were to go with the 5100’s what ride height should I choose?
    Thanks for the replies

The truck drives nice now but I’m thinking it must be time and perhaps I could improve the ride quality

I have had the truck for about 6 years trouble free....
I have it set up to pull behind my RV with a driveshaft disconnect B346B1CE-2624-4C6F-9A39-17DA90A85449.jpg

5100’s are nice and they will level the truck. But if you tow occasionally, you’ll be nose high. Personally I would leave around 1 inch of rake in the rear. Rear 5100’s are not adjustable if you didn’t know.

Fox or sway a way coilovers would be good or ranch’s quick lift if they make it for our trucks
