@TexasTundra27 how was their pricing? I've been looking for a replacement front bumper similar to C4 Fabrications Tacoma Overlander or the Demello 3 hoop style just so it's (hopefully) compatible with the TSS and parking sensors on the truck.

Nailed it! In all my years you are the first person to make that connection.

Thanks for the pricing. Definitely something to look into since everything I seem to want is only for the tacomas.

You and me both. That was the glory days of Napster, Kazaa, Limewire etc. etc. for me, so I was getting my hands on everything I could. I'm pretty sure I almost failed out of college twice because I was downloading so much stuff.

I was just about to ask! I watched that build via his Instagram page. I like Nathan a lot, he's a really cool dude.

Hoping to one day establish some kind of relationship between our organizations and maybe get a tiny discount or something.

You bet!!! We've got a pretty good sized crew already registered. I'm willing to bet we will have between 25-40 official club members in attendance.

This is accurate but also very competitive for quality custom work, and he knocks it out of the park. Great guy to work with, if you can dream it he can build it.

Yea Nathan is a good dude, and a badass when it comes to Offroad fabrication! Sweet, I’ll try to keep an eye out for y’all then.
Something I’ve been meaning to ask about TTC is do y’all give back (via donations or work days) to some of the parks or groups that help keep our trails open or get us more parks/access? I made a personal goal to myself to support the groups that support my passion and favorite hobby.

Haven't gone to Jambo in years, but am thinking of going this year if I can swing it. Will only do the easy trails, though, if I do go.

Hey y’all! Been a long week been catching up on some threads here. Hope everyone is doing well. I had A question for my fellow TTC members...what do y’all use to communicate with when off roading or going thru areas where reception is lost?

I’ve used a CB with a mag mount antenna many times. Sometimes a tree limb may knock it off, but it usually stays put.

Okay I’m still trying to learn about CB & ham radios. I actually want something simple like a handheld radio that would work and be able to communicate.

Our very first meet was a park clean up and it went very well. I think we hauled off over 10 contactor bags of trash. This is really something we would like to get back to doing are very open to any and all suggestions.
Got a CB unit that I primarily use.

Just picked up a hand held HAM/GMRS radio since most of the crew seems to be transitioning to them.

Will need to get certified for that (I've only used it once on a private channel so far)

Totes should. They are pretty powerful little things.

I'm just now diving into that whole spectrum and was spoiled with the simplicity of CB.
