Demello 14 and up front bumper preorders!

Got some info from my buddy at state48overland about Demello bumpers for the 3rd gens...

"Demello is starting manufacturing of the 3rd Gens. Pics coming. Will share once received per Jason slight design change to the front vs pictures. Pricing will be the same as 2nd Gens. No aluminum options he doesn’t feel comfortable with a full size rig and aluminum structure for winching or bashing purposes. We can take pre purchase orders. He’s allowing me to still use our in house XX% discount good through the weekend. He is doing an overhaul adjustment on pricing across most of his products. Raw materials costs have risen."

Need details on the bumper. When I previously asked Jason he said there wasn't enough demand for a 3rd Gen Tundra bumper, so I went a different route. If this ends up as nice as some of his other bumpers I might have to do it.

 

Nothings been posted on the demello site or elsewhere yet. There are a few teasers out there but I'm waiting for a more final pic to post. Few lines and such will be getting cleaned up.

Is there going to be a prerunner option?

 

Probably not,
If you want a prerunner style look into SS built, he has a great looking prerunner bumper

 

I like it. Hopefully we'll be able to order it w/o the shackle mounts.

I just posted this yesterday about a 3rd gen front bumper.

As for what’s proposed by Jason here, I’d actually like to see the ends align with the stock fender and not stick out too far. I know I’m in the minority, but our Fiberglas genders were molded to match the stock body and bumper lines, so this current prototype he shows wouldn’t align with our fenders. Or stock fenders.

Looks good otherwise. Hope it’s not massively heavy. I do like the angles on the recovery points. They’ll allow for high angle loads (vertically) without tearing the tabs off.

Great clean looking bumper. I wish they had a spot to either mount a 30" light bar in the bumper and still have a winch and/or had enough of a lip on the top to mount some lights (LP9's).

I was one of the first people who ordered one a few years back. Great engineer and solid welds. It was on my 2013 and would not transfer or fit my 2018 that really sucked. 12k winch with 100' cable wireless remote control. Demello is a rare guy, straight shooter and real deal.

 

Any word on what the tubing option will look like?

You are correct man. Should resemble the 2nd gen hoop option but with the 3rd gen design.

 

This is really good feedback guys that I will pass along to Jason! I can see both sides working here. Let me explain. I run a +2 LT on my Tacoma with trimmed stock flares. That extended corner coverage would work well for me in my application or especially with someone running wider flares or aggressively backspaced wheels. Now on the new Demello 3rd Gen Tacoma bumper, he did a great job keeping the sides near flush with the flares...which give the bumper/stance/front end a clean appearance, and gives a moderately backspaced wheel/tire set up, look more aggressive:
