Tundra Driving Pats Fans?

I am new to Tundras and this forum. How many Pats fans are out there? Most of the world except for Saints fans will be rooting for the Rams. This will be Brady’s 9th Super Bowl and it never gets old having your team in the big game! I am originally from CT, but left after joining Navy. I have been fortunate enough to make it to 3 AFC Championship games (2 against the Ravens and the deflategate game). Hopefully it will be a great game!

 

It gets really old if you ask me. Lol hey thanks for you service.btw .but I'm not sure how many pats fans you will have on here. But thats just from reading some of the NFL thread on here . but I will not be watching the game at all .Haha

 

Not here. I'm a Bears fan.

However, this year is interesting. My son is a Pats fan. When he was really young (like 4), he wanted to get a baseball cap, so I took him to a place and he looked over all of the different hats and really liked the Patriots logo, so he asked if he could get it. I said sure, and he still has that hat (he is 12 now), and has been a Pats fan since. I have a similar story as to why I am a Syracuse Orange fan - but I digress. This year, my son is feeling a bit bummed because everybody and their mother are against the Pats and he is getting sick of the trash talk at school and people making fun of him for being a Pats fan. He told my wife that he likes the team because of this "special memory" with his Dad (his words). I keep telling him, if you like the Pats - then be proud of it. Doesn't matter what happens.

Although it doesn't really matter what happens in this game, I will be pulling for the Pats because of this silly little story with my son.

Pat's fan from CT here. Go Pat's! I know most will be patriots and Brady haters, doesn't bother me a bit. Greatest dynasty in sports history, two times over.

That's really cool ! Well I hope they win for your son. Haha we are a devided house I'm a colts fan and my wife and daughter love the chiefs.

 

I agree with hearing from the haters all of these years! It probably started after 2005. When Brady first came into the league he was the young phenom like Mahomes is now. Then it turns to ok enough of this success and everyone wants to see the downfall. It comes with the territory as nobody hates a team that sucks.

 

Giants fan here. I don’t really get why everyone says it’s getting old seeing the Pats in the Super Bowl. All anyone has to do is beat them. I think it’s pretty awesome that we’re gett to see a career like Brady’s happen in real time.

If you want to talk about something getting old, look at the NCAA. Same teams every year, and they don’t even have to earn their way in. No playoffs, so people just get to decide what team belongs. Completely asinine. Over a hundred years, and exactly ZERO real champions. The NCAA title is about as legitimate as a WWE Championship is.

The Giants definitely have the Pats number! Those games were crazy. Came down to Giants 1 in a million chance catches (Tyree and Manningham) and lack of making catches (Welker) on Pats side.

Even a Saints fan will root for the Rams, case in point, ME. They are a good squad, although i dont agree with the crappy officiating of the NFC Championship game, my hatred for the Patriots is right there next to my hatred for the zebras and the Cowboys.

 

Yeah, which is why I always root for the Pats against anyone else in the Super Bowl. I wanted the Giants to be the only ones who beat them, which got ruined last year.

 

I'm not a fan of either team. I am rooting for Brady though. The guy is doing something special and Im just enjoying the ride of getting to see it. MJ of football. When he is retired a few years people will talk about wishing they had gotten to see him play more like they do Michael Jordan.

 

Not a Pats hater but don't really care who wins. If I had to bet money on the win, would lean Pats.

Sadly overall interest in NFL has dropped a lot in the the last couple of years with the injection of politics.

 

Seahawks fan here. Cheering for the Rams today. I've never liked the Pats and I've been sick of Brady for years. LOL
