I have a 3 day split with mostly compound lifts and some accessory lifts thrown in. LISS cardio on most workout days.

I've been lifting seriously since 2010 as well

Maybe it's time for this old fat boy to stop thinking about it and get back in shape...

I'm 28 and have been lifting seriously since 2000. Since my son was born (over 2 yes ago) getting to the gym got tough so picked up home gym equipment over the summer. now I lift 4-5x/wk in my basement. I have been in such a rut with colds, injuries, work, it blows. Just starting to get back on track.
    Nice before/after Sean.

I started back last week too. My old lifting buddy called me up and said whenever he drives his truck, which also happens to be a tundra, over bumps or railroad tracks, his titty bounces up and almost hits him in the face.... Ha, exaggerated but funny. Anyway he said he doesn't want to be fat and lazy anymore and would come to the gym next to my house if I would go work out. I've got 50-60 pounds to drop... Yep, big boy, but my lean weight where I can see abs is 200 pounds and I'm 260 as of tonight. I am still able to bench 200 pounds 10 times pretty easily, so that's something I guess.

I'm 5'7 @180 with abs...not shredded- but they are there...I'm focusing on bringing my legs up....gotta keep that lean gain status up...although u DO have to eat to gain...and with that will come a little more bodyfat...as long as I can at least see some cloudy abs while doing it I should be fine...there's no need to put on excessive weight to have to drop it all for a measly 2lbs or so of stage weight.

    Bumping this thread!

Been incorporating some DUP. So far it seems awesome in terms of increasing strength and hypertrophy.

After 3 months of doing this, I switch to a 4 day upper/lower split for two 6 week cycles then back to DUP. Seems to be kick ass so far

Planning on getting back into lifting once I'm through busy season at work, should only be a few more weeks. I lifted like a mad man back in high school, was squatting and deadlifting mid 400's and power cleaning 260 off the floor. I've lost around 10 lbs since work made it impossible to work out, may need to start following one of you guy's workouts to gain it back.

After about 3 years of getting big, it really killed my timed 3 mile run that I have to do for my job and so I'm starting to focus on functional compound lifts and high intensity cardio.

What's everyone using for pre workout these days? Just tried ON's gold standard stuff and was not impressed. Kind of like another C4 replica. I wish I could go back in time and buy cases of Craze or the original jack3d.

I never got into preworkout. A good 20 g of protein, an apple and some creatine does just fine for me

I'd definitely hit up DUP to get strength back or even dabble in Doggcrapp (DC)

When I was doing DC, it was the strongest I ever got. Stopped for a while,(years) lost about 30 lbs (I'm an ecto/meso leaning more towards ecto) now DUP is really bringing out that strength again, but also incorporating hypertrophy, so it's a win for me!

Gym stuff was never personally for me. I am a runner! (Does that count?)
    Almost all long distance.
I buy most of my stuff from Hammer Nutrition. Quality stuff there.

I don't love lift much. I jog 3X per week and follow a weight lifting app from my old job (Performix) 2X per week. If I get a chance, will also add a 15-20 mile bike ride on the weekend. But never seem to lose the belly. I gues that is just my body staying ready for the next famine

Nice! I typically run 3-5x/week. Anywhere between 1-4 miles, not counting warm up/cool down. I like shorter distances but work on improving my times. I raced my first 5 miler earlier this spring, it was fun. I plan to do more.
I got hooked on running after a shoulder injury from lifting curbed me from weights for a bit.
Now back in the gym and still running too.

I've been bummed out for the past few months that I haven't been able to get back to repping out 225 on bench. I used to knock out 12 reps after warming up with no problem but I tweaked my shoulder earlier this year and it hasn't been the same since. I can barely muster 2-3 sets of 5 reps.
