I don't know much about the LC rear axle but the closest disc brake is first gen Sequoia.

    I'm not sure I follow.

The sequoia back plates, calipers, and rotors will bolt on? Or is the entire axle bolt on?

    Same ratios? Same width?

Car parts.com show those axles at $400 all day long. What would labor be to swap em out...3hrs?

Take everything from the backing plates out from a sequoia axle. Depending on the year of the tundra axle vs sequoia parts you might have to drill out the four bolt holes for the axle retainers in the axle housing. It’s a pretty straightforward swap once you have all the parts in hand.

Anybody seen a write up or vid yet? The sequoia axles are still cheaper than the tundra axles.

How would I confirm my axle ratio, also?

I haven’t performed this myself. But there is a way to spin the wheel and count the revolutions of your driveshaft. Then a bunch of mad bullshit and you’re done LOL. I would just Google it.
