    OG.jpg Hello!

    Just picked up a 2006 Limited; 4.7L, 4x4, Access Cab...with 45K miles!

Beyond stoked on this 1st gen Tundra! Just found this site! I'm sure I'll be asking for advice and recommendations. Here is what I want to begin with. If you would please comment or add links to the following that would be great.

    1. Camper shell - where to find or buy
    2. Black running board recommendations as well as pros and cons
    3. Leveling kit - spacers vs. shocks
    4. Camper Shell Builds - Looking for storage and sleeping

Thank you everyone. This is going to be an amazing community.

P.S. Keep getting an error while trying to upload an image?

When you edit the post, click "more options", and then at the bottom right you should see an "Upload a File" button.

You will need to upload it and then choose whether you want the full image or a thumbnail.

Welcome to the site and congrats on the find! I have a burgandy 2006 limited at work that we have been using to tote a trailer around for about 9 years. And I owned a white 2006 for a long time as well, they are great trucks!

No prob man, good looking truck! There are a bunch of badass 1st gens on this site, so just explore the build threads section and I'm sure you will find plenty of ideas! I know a few guys have really nice camping setups, but I think they utilize a tent rather than the camper shell. Good luck!

That Tom brady is a no good trickster! A ball-deflating swindler! A cheater if I ever saw one!

Just kidding I only despise him for crapping the bed the first half of the season on my fantasy team a couple years ago. Then the bastard rubbed it in my face by lighting it up every week after I got fed up and traded him!

That Tom Brady is the devil.

Now... back to the purpose of this site.

Looking for a matching color camper shell, preferably in California. Flush with the roof line. No space ship truck tumor height camper.

Leveling spacers vs new front shocks?

Welcome from eastern CO! I bet that would make one hell a camping/off-road pickup.
