OK I'm pretty new to this metric sizing system for vehicles. I've been an old school guy I guess and am used to the standard sizing system lol. I'm wanting to get new rims and tires soon. I think I've narrowed it down to 18x9 Method NV or Roost wheels. Not 100% sure on tires yet but thinking 285/75 or 295/70 tires. I've got a mild leveling kit, I'm thinking its 1.5" in the front and not sure on the rear (bought the Tundra with it). Where I get lost is the offset area, what do you guys think would work? I would like the tires to be flush, maybe even a little "poke" Thanks

Thank you for the reply, and pics. Very nice truck BTW.

You have the right amount of tire sticking out IMO. How do you like the Roost wheels?

I forgot to mention I currently have 275/70R18. Is that the stock tire size for the Tundras?

Welcome from Texas. Like OR18TRD said, +25 to +35 mm should be a good offset. I'm also old school (in my 50's), and it took me some getting used to the metric tire sizing system of late. I used this website to learn and compare tire sizes: 275/70R18 is not the stock size. I don't remember what the stock size is (maybe 255/70/18?), but 275/70R18 is roughly 33" in diameter by 11" wide. I ran that size on a stock suspension and rubbed the front little mud flap behind the bumper while in reverse and turning. But that was with 18x9 MB 352 wheels with +25mm offset. Interestingly enough, the more the wheel/tire sticks out, the more chance of rubbing the front fender well behind the bumper. Those with stock offset don't usually rub with 275/70R18 and stock suspension.

With 1.5" of lift, it might be a tight fit for 295/70/18s, but probably doable by pushing in the front plastic and removing the front little mud flap. I removed that front plastic (behind the bumper) entirely and don't rub with 1.9" of lift and 285/75/17s (roughly the same size as 285/70/18s). That tire size is about 33.8" in diameter and 11.2" wide (about 1/2" smaller in diameter than the 295/70/18s. Main reason I went with a 17" tire/wheel combo is because of slightly less expensive tire options and a bit more sidewall.

Either way, be sure to post pictures of whatever setup you go with!

If the puck/spacer is 1” thick, then I think it should provide about 2” of lift (roughly spacer thickness x 2 = amount of lift). I’m not familiar with Revtek spacers, though, but I thought they advertise a 3” lift (probably a 1.5” spacer would be my guess).

With 3” of lift, it should be easier to fit 295/70/18s or 285/75/18s.

Looks like you have a 2”-2.5” up front.

You can roll just fine on your 275/70’s or if you want more, 295’s will do/look great.

I’m getting my roosts in in a week or so. You’ll do just fine with that offset!

    Good luck!

Alright, I need your guys opinions. Which wheel would go good with the color of my truck? Looking at the Method Roost. I saw a similar color truck with the chrome blacked out and looked pretty good with the bronze.

Forgot to say earlier that your truck looks really good. I like that ARB bumper/winch combo.

Anyway, you can't go wrong with Method wheels. Personally, I think it would look pretty nice with bronze wheels, but either color works great.

Welcome! X4 bronze. Nice truck. Looks like my 08 DC also with an arb. Although mine isn’t the ranch hand one. Both colors will look awesome though.

Lol. I was thinking the same thing, as far as bronze is the New Black. Nobody in my town had them yet. Everybody has black. I'm sure that's the same everywhere though.

I considered going dark bronze when I got mine. I ended up going gunmetal and love the way mine turned out, but I sometimes wonder how it would look with the bronze.
