Yes I do have stock shocks. Like I have said I don't off road much and when I do it is low speed and light. I understand your Jeep has 30,000$ in work done to it, I understand YOU actually off-road. I also wouldn't put a spacer lift in if I was doing what you are. But for many people, and for what they want or need it is a good option. I have experience with off roading as well as my friends that rock crawl. With combined knowledge from them, myself, forums, I decided what was best for me . I looked at all options as I tow, off-road lightly, family vehicle, and work vehicle this was my best option for what I actually needed and what I could spend. Also when I have a major problem I just unbolt and bring in for warranty work. Once done bolt back up. Now if they are Illegal why did my single cab with a plow, come with 2" in front spacer from dealership ? Also if people get the wrong angle from rear blocks it might be because they were installed backwards. The ones I have used had a taller to them. Sorry you did not get the point about my chevette. The short 2 sentence story was ment to show you most people don't know how to use thier vehicles. My p.o.s. went were 4x4 trucks didn't because of the driver. Not becuase it was good. I once again will say you are right for the situation you need. That is not everyones situation. Btw do you deal with spider trax at all?

I has long travel lift......but my axles are different than yours. I'm no help

Lets escalate even more....I get zero axle wrap by the way with my AAL when 4 wheeling here in CO. First hand knowledge. Not hearsay. Check my build thread pics or better yet come out here and I'll show you first hand. I have seat belts. AAL has more axle wrap than a stupid block that does basically nothing but add axle wrap and the cheap way to get lift?? You are kidding right??

 

Well done. My OME setup is quite similar. Speed bumps are a thing of the past. Definitely blows away factory TRD setup which I had for a few months. I still need to upgrade my UCA's for best alignment and down travel. You 've got a lot of experience and it's good that you share that experience here.

No I'm not joking. That's great that you don't get axle wrap with an AAL, I'm just saying I did and it was worse than with a block in the back .. I did check your build thread, you took the off beaten path once last month, I wouldn't call that wheeling really. I've wheeled in Colorado, Arkansas, Texas, Arizona, Louisiana, Iowa, Minnesota .. not my first rodeo. I would bet 90% of lifted trucks on the road have blocks in the back, here in TX anyway, cause that's what works for them.

I've argued with Jason on tw a few times, pretty smart dude. But blocks will still work for the majority of people wanting a rear lift

 

Just having some fun. I don't post/take pics every time I go out and I'm not constantly taking pics while wheeling in tough spots, kind of hard to steer. I should buy a go pro. I can assure you I went off road more than once last month. I can get to some of the best 4 wheeling in the country in a hour, everyday if I wanted to. I've wheeled in Oregon, North Carolina, Florida, California, Nevada, Arizona, Washington, Alaska, BC, Yukon, Baja, Japan, Philippines, and Colorado. I'm not into blanket statements and I don't pretend that I know where and how much 4 wheeling someone does. I first started wheeling 45 years ago. Built up by first jeep in 1972. Yes blocks do work for a lot folks, especially in the flat lands. It's a cheap and easy way to get lift. Nothing wrong with that. I see a few block set ups here in CO. Usually on over lifted trucks that never leave the pavement for good reason. Guess I'll go chill out. lmao.
