    Hey dude
If I go with a 3" spacer in the front and 1" in the back will I need a differential drop kit as well? Also what brand do you recommend? I read something about not going cheap cheap do to bolts not being strong enough...

If it was me I would use the differential drop kit. As far as brand, I don't recommend any particular one because as far as I'm concerned there all pretty much the same..

To bad your not close to me cause if you were, we could hook up and I would let you drive my truck that has a huge spacer. My truck is butter smooth.

I have an rc lift and just went from spacers to lifted 3.0 struts it mad a huge diference. I think but of course I also believe it depends on tires also andd how much pressure you run .I ride stiff most of the time with pressure because I haul a camper around alot .

Without a doubt coils will improve the ride, just not enough for me to spend the money. The OP is looking for an inexpensive way to lift due to his situation.

I put on 5100’s top setting. I shopped around a little online and got mine for around $185. It took me and another guy a little less than two hours to install

I paid $189.94 for the 5100s, and $85.43 for the alignment. I installed them myself. two hours on the first side and one hour on the other; three hours total.

Where did you find them for that? I can find a set of 4 for less than $397.

I’m assuming he did like me and only installed the front two adjustable shocks, not the back set

@MJ_19Tundra you can do spacers. They wont harm much since you're looking to the 2-2.5in range. I personally am against spacers because they promote a false sense of hope that you gain performance in overall suspension travel. They're okay for clearing a desired tire/wheel combo but that's it. Something like Pro Comp PN: 65225 is the 2.5 in lift (front) . This in return will cause the front to go higher by about 1/2 - 3/4in taller up front which usually you have to do a block or some type of lift support in the rear ( PN 50126 u-bolts and 95-150b blocks ) to make it level. Or, you can do PN: 65225k which is a 3+1, but now you're crossing the line of technically needing UCA's. Others will say you don't need arms but I can fill you in why you do for the long run. There are tons of options in the 1.75 - 2in range to save you from that. Hit me up and I'll explain more because my fingers are tired now...

Not trying to be negative here, but lots of people using spacers. Also a serious misunderstanding of how they come into play. Preload the coil with a spacer and you effect the ride. Install the spacer on top and you lose travel. If you wanna jump your trucks on the weekends, Buy a 450R instead.

My suggestion, buy at least some 5100's all the way around that way you get "some performance." Take a look at what @lunchbox does on his 5100's

Wish I had met you before I bought my kit :rofl: soon....soon....hahaha

OP--- I bought the rough country leveling kit so and so far I haven't noticed any difference in my ride but if I could do it over in the beginning I would have gone with something else, but that was before I found this lovely group lol
