Hey guys so I have a 2015 Trd pro and looking to upgrade my wheel and tire package. Looking to buy 20x9 +25 offset XD grenades with either 285/60/20 or 285/65/20 ridge grapplers. Just wondering if I will need to to a BMC or if I would be fine. And I also bought the PRO package from coachbuilder with the shims, shackles, spacer for bumper and steering kit. Looking to buy myself an early Christmas gift!

Probably not what you want to hear. But I suggest 17” rims with that extra lift, it will look awesome, more tire less rim better ride. If I ever upgrade my rims, it’s most likely going to be 17 inchers.

I have slightly smaller (275/65/20 with TRD Pro 2shims +25mm) and I didn’t need to chop. You’ll more than likely need attention to the flaps.

It also depends on how the shop does your alignment.

I have a 3/1 with 285/65/20’s on BFG KO2’s. Needed to trim an inch off the front piece that’s it. The piece by the mud flap sticks out a little. I pushed it in and it doesn’t rub. Might zip tie it so it doesn’t pop back.

Looks better with the 35’s. Plus the 60’s are $50 more per tire than the 65’s. Pay less and go bigger

You should be in great shape with either tire size especially with our bumper shim kit added. We set this truck up with the same system (20"x9"+25mm) and used a 295/65/20" (35.1") and did trim the body mount slightly but with the 285's only measuring 33.5"-34.6" you'll clear.

And coachbuilder with the 295's did the tires stick out past the fender or know if the 285's will?

The 295's only measure 11.6" and 285's measure 11.2" wide. So with the +25mm offset the 295's were outside about 3/4"
