I think the long bolts go in the back (been awhile since I installed mine). I got the center bolt in place and then I was able to attach the the side bolts, then the front, and I did back last.

The 6 smaller ones are for the bumber tabs.

It really depends how you attach them, but the general consensus seems to be put the bolt through the skid facing down, nut, washer, bumper tab, washer, nut.

No, just 3 tabs, but two nuts per bolt.

You don't have to do it that way, but if you do, the bolts that go through the bumper tabs are secured to the plate if you need to remove the plate.

Don't feel bad, it took me about 3 tries to get it right even after somebody else posted how to do it.

Yeah it is. It's pretty ridiculous these don't come with instructions. Turns a 30 minute job into an hour and a half job. It's not fun crawling under the truck 10-15 times with a skid plate on top of you, just to try to figure it out.

Gorilla glued my diff drop spacers in place on the skid. I used my floor jack to position skid in place. Took maybe 30 minutes to bolt into place while drinking one beer.

I used floor jack to help with install, made it much easier to get everything lined up properly

Did you get the new one piece up front? The older design with 2 pieces is impossible to install in 30 minutes without any instructions. It took over 30 minutes just to figure out what went where and what order to install it.

Yeah I got instructions just not very detailed and I seem to have got a lot of nuts for I don't know what I got the three silver ones for the tabs on the original bumper also got five of the M8 by 30 mm are for the five locations to hold it down also got the two really long carriage bolts for the rear crossmember but I seem to have got quite a bit of nuts
