If I bought an ajt key case could I take these two apart and combine them in the case to make a single unit?

From my understanding the AJT products only encase current design.
You can make them a single unit by:
buying a new style key with the intergrated buttons then getting it cut and programmed.
hopefully someone else will chime in to confirm.

Below is a thread discussing converting to 2018+ fobs

I was thinking that as well. Found a place to buy the key, cut and program for 125 then the case 155ish total.

$125 is pretty reasonable if it is an OEM.
I have have dealt with both style keys.
    The integrated key is longer
I like the 2018+ tundra integrated key because there is 1 less Fob dangling around making the keys less bulky.
My only complaint is i find myself visually confirming which button i am pressing.
Since the buttons are smaller and more streamlined, it is more difficult for me to determine which button my thumb is on.
Maybe it's just a learning curve idk, just my .02 cents good luck either way

From that other thread I linked, someone payed $60 for just the programming at the dealer
I haven actually changed the FOB's.
My 2012 Tacoma has the same split Fob as 2014-2017 Tundras.
I picked up a 2018 tundra in August so i switch back an forth between the trucks/ Fobs.
