Hey gang. Is there a reference somewhere? I couldn't find one. I'm trying to determine the backspacing of my stock wheels (without having to take the wheel off and actually look). I have a 2018 Limited with the 18" split 5-spoke TRD off-road package alloy wheels with the Michelin P275/65R18s.

If I can't figure it out soon, I'll just jack the damned thing up and pop a tire off, and report back here.

    +60 is correct

+50 for OEM Rock Warrior wheels, otherwise +60. There may be some OEM TSS wheels that are +50 also but I'm not sure.

Thanks Ron. Good info. I thought I'd read that somewhere.

    Hmmm.

Offset/backspace are two different things. One is measured in mm the other in inches.

The way this guy asked the question makes it sound like he is looking at a lift that probably states “requires X amount of backspacing”.

Offset won’t help him unless he knows the conversion formula.

    1/2 wheel width + offset (in inches) + 1/2” = backspace

Wow thanks guys! I tried to convert offset to backspacing and I guess I need to know the wheel width as well, is it 8.5"? A few wheels have been mentioned already, so I'm specifically talking about 2018 Tundra LTD with TRD off-road package.

Pretty sure the stock wheels are 18x8. See above post for formula.

Haha totally true. Well actually, I spoke to a guy at Icon who stated that a stock 2018 Tundra with stock TRD offroad package lift could accommodate 35" tires with a wheel that has a 8.5" width and a 5.75" backspacing. So what I'm really looking for is how far off from the stock spec such a wheel would be, just as a mental exercise more than anything else.

Probably easier to post your desired setup on here and let us help you out lol. 35”s typically require a cab mount chop for no rub from what I understand. If you are only going with 2-3” lift look into 295/70/18, they are a great size for our trucks, only slightly smaller than a 35. If your going with different rims try to stick around the +12 to +30 offset range for best fit with no rubbing.
