So they don't stick at all part fender flares? I just ordered same spacers and have same wheels and flares

Finally got my Nittos on today. Had the lift on for quite a while now with my old 275/70r18 KO2's and they finally wore down enough for me to justify getting new ones.

Went for the 295/70r18s. Considered the 35X12.50s, but every pic I saw with those and my lift seemed to look a little too "stuffed" in the wheel well for my liking. The best thing about the new tires? My rig is quiet again. As I have mentioned in other posts, if those KO2s start wearing unevenly, they are loud as hell. It is nice to not have that noise now - I can just focus on the sweet tone of the exhaust. :headbang:

Anyway, a couple of pics. My wheels are Moto Metal 951s with +30 offset. Lift is about 3.25/1.

Before as purchased. And after.... leveled, 275/65r20 Cooper AT3-XLT, predator steps and I had the fronts tinted to match rear windows after the pic. Sold my 2011 Rock Warrior for this upgrade. Love it.

Those 34s look nice! Those rims also have a +50 offset? Spacers used? Any rubbing? Would 35s squeeze in? Lol trying to keep my stock rims as well

I didn’t have to remove or cut anything. I will look again at skid plate. But never had any rubbing on the trip home. I would tell you 35s would fit based on other posts here. I think some cutting or mods would need to be done. As I know most are wider than these and that would make a difference. Overall diameter would have all kinds of room though.

Nice! How do you like those Coopers? Any balancing issues?

There were not a lot of reviews online as the xlt is the new model. I’d run coopers before, but am a huge believer in the KO2 for Maine winters, thought I would give these a try. I couldn’t beat the price and saved over 300 vs bfg Ko2s. Overall I like the look of them and I think they will be just fine for winter. Watched the guys balance and install, and I didn’t see any huge issues. Very quiet ride on the way home! As Cooper said. And they have a great tread warranty as well. Will see what happens over time.

Thanks for the info. I had ordered the Cooper XLTs and am at the shop waiting on their install. Despite the glowing online reviews on some of the tire retail sites, I got a bit concerned after reading a few posts on here about balancing issues with Coopers. I had run the the older at3s on a 1st gen Tacoma several years back with no issues, though. Glad to hear you have no issues with the XLTs. Hope I have the same good luck after they put them on.

Had to remove mud flaps, front air flaps, and I'm going to have to shim the bumper forward a bit.

Here's a shot of it the day I bought it.

I had to remove the small mud? flap in front of the tires due to rubbing. Other than that they fit great. Due to the new offset, the tires are ~1in outside the fender. I would have liked 295s but wheels, 2x $$ tires, lift, fender flares were more than I wanted to spend all at once. And, I knew the 275/60/55s would fit with little to no issues. Down the road, I'll pick up a toytec lift. Overall I'm very happy. The guy at the tire shop gave me two big thumbs up. He loved the bronze/white, but he probably says that to all the girls. :)

I have Fuel wheels at +1 offset 5 mm backspacing 20x9, 3/1 suspension lift and +3 CB shackles. Tires are 275/65/R20 toyo at's which required BMC along with front bumper CoachBuilder spacers and front mudflap takeoffs for front clearance. I'm wanting to get these same wheels but run 255/80x 17 tires. I DO NOT want the tires to stick out passed the wheel wells. Do you think this would happen with the set up I want? I own a 2011 Tundra w/OUT fender flares.

Do you have any rubbing issues? I am looking at the Mayhem Rampage with a +18 offset and a 3/1 lift. Wondering if I may be able to squeeze some 35s! Bare minimum 305 55 20 but would like to go a little bigger if possible without a lot of running.

    Thanks!

I was rubbing front bumper on both sides. I was able to just trim a little plastic and drill a new hole in it and re-secure about an inch forward. Hard to explain without pics but you can't tell anything has been cut. I also rub very slightly on driver side body mount in full reverse lock but not enough for me to do the mod to the mount.

I know someone that has a 3/1 procomp and he looked to be rubbing pretty good because he cut a noticeable chunk from the bumper. I am 3.5" higher in front than stock.

Offset will def play a huge role. I went with the +1 because I wanted more poke but I was too afraid to try the 20x10 -12 that I really wanted. I would have def scrubbed very bad. Overall I am happy with how it turned out. Once these tires wear out I will probably make a 35x12.50 work instead of the 11.50 that I have now.
