I want a new front grill for the truck. Specifically, I don't want chrome anymore. I want a color matched or preferably a black one. Anyone found somewhere that has OEM color matched ones or even better, matte black ones for a good price? Found some but they want way too much for them. Thanks for the assist

Yea man, I should be able to get you one of the painted OEM grilles. Is it for the '08 in your profile? Which ones are you looking at?

It is for the 08. I'm not sure if the websites but some of the ones I've seen are OEM from third parties and I've found a few gloss black ones but the matte black looks way better.

Here's the one I did. Took a spare grill and had it color matched. Didn't turn out too bad.

Yea, I can get the black painted grille, or even the slate gray painted grille (Is your paint code 1F9?). But honestly, if you could paint yours like ^^, you'll save a ton of money.

What would a matte black one set me back by?

Mine is 1F9! Can you get the grill in the slate metallic for my 07 Limited? Would I need new brackets?

Sorry to thread jack OP. I've been wanting a paint matched grille for a while now.

    Thanks!

It looks like you would have to go with the 2010-12 styled grille for the flat black, and you would need a couple of brackets and clips to make that happen as well. Here are a few links to the parts:

    http://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/oe-toyota/531000c220
    http://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/oe-toyota/531170c030
    http://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/oe-toyota/531180c030
    http://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/oe-toyota/531910c010 x5

Here's a link to the grille for yours, which is the earlier style:

    http://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/oe-toyota/531000c170b1

And just in case you like the newer style better:

If you go with the newer style, you'll need those ^ brackets and clips as well.

Correct, you would just need to figure out which style to go with.

    Thanks Roman. Greatly appreciate it.

I really like the newer style grill. How hard are the brackets to install?

Shouldn't be too hard. There's just a couple of bolts and nuts to remove to take them off.

It is all of the parts in those links. Remember, you'll need 5 of the clips.

Thanks Roman. I'm about to order everything but, wanted to check if you carried color matching mirror caps for my 07 with the power folding mirrors.
