Got the rxt leaf pack, currently on setting 1. I was on setting 2 but removed hitch and stock spare and added a high clearance bumper. I do have the sdhq chase with a spare and a pro eagle jack. Once I added the rear bumper it had the rear shock way out of the ride zone. 3+ inches over stock ride height. Once back to setting one. The truck sets level at best but with ANY weight added to the bed, it will start to sag. There seems to be no in between setting. Anyone have any advice on how to find that balance? I guess I could go back to setting 2 and add my 2nd spare.. but I didnt really want to drive around with it at all times.. all suggestions are welcome

I have mine on option 3 and stay weighted. Without weight it sits way to high but I keep a decent amount of tools and goodies for random use inside the topper.

There really is no in between imo. At setting 1 weight is really compromised. With my full spare and some basic tools I was at a decent height.
If you are happy with the way it rides and really want to stay at setting 1 you can get a tc/camburg shackle. It will give u a little more height with little compromise. So if you add a bit more weight than what you usually have it won’t go down too much.
I haven’t test this out, but it’s one of the options I can think of that can help your situation out.
I opted to stick with the option 3 even though I’m on stock pro rears with no more rack and tent.

I found it was pretty bouncy with the stock pro rears on. I was trying to pace buying all of MT. Didn't wait long. The Omega's made a really noticeable difference.

I’m in the same boat. I mostly drive with an empty bed and don’t want my daily driving too rough. On day trips I’ll have a couple hundred lbs. On overnighter trips probably 4-500 lbs. I’m on the lowest setting and my leafs are almost flat already. I think I’m gonna try the middle setting as soon as @dcsleeper408 helps me do it. Hint hint. The ride is probably gonna suck with an empty bed but I don’t think I have a choice.

I have my icon rxt on setting 3 but that is becuase I used it to replace my 4in lift block! I went off roading with it today and it did great! I also like how it doesn’t squat as much with a load!

I have a box of tools full spare in maybe at 350lbs?
It does feel a little bit bouncy, but nothing that drives me and the family crazy.
Really can’t wait to put the new suspension on.

Same situation here. Daily driver and predominantly unloaded - sits about perfect and rides great. Throw some gear in the back and it sags a bit. I’ll be adding an ARE cap in the next few weeks and I’ll see how it sits - probably going up to 2nd setting. May think about shackles like @dcsleeper408 mentioned.

@dcsleeper408 @joonbug wouldnt the shackles be kind of a bandaid? I may be totally wrong but amongst just changing the ride height, it's not going to stop the sagging of the springs itself is it? Itd be like taking the arch out of the spring and trying to put it back with shackles right?

I think running longer shackles give the springs more leverage. When I ran CB shackles on the stock leafs it def helped with sagging, but it was also slightly higher so there was more to play with. I'll most likely go to option 2 but need to figure out the fronts first so I'm not riding ass up

I feel you. I was def ass up. It didnt look to bad in pics but when I stood behind the truck the rear bumper literally hit my belt line lol. Just super super stiff ride. Had plenty of travel lol just a terrible ride. I may just go back to option 2 and throw the extra spare in the bed and just roll with it. That should help at least settle it a little.. right now it sets 7 or 8 inches from the bumps.. and if I get down on it pretty good it squats, so I'm sure shes getting real close.

Lol yessir. I still think those may have been overkill truthfully. I'd probably be in the same boat.

It will be.. I think with the camburg or tc shackle it will be a small compromise. I’m surprised you have any arch at all. My tool box full spare and some small gear put my packs flat. At option 3 I got a small arch with little weight in the bed. I’d rather have rake so when I load up it settles down.
Our leaf packs are long. They will look flat, but if you aren’t hitting your bumps I think you are ok.
If you are worried about weight load go up to option2
If you want a little height to negate a little more weight I say option 1 with tc or camburg shackle.

Wow that's crazy man. I'm probably close to stock weight as far as overall load goes. I'm sure the chase and the spare are close to what the stock hitch was.. now that I'm thinking about it, I forget sometimes how damn heavy that pro eagle is.. I may just set it back to option 2.. at least it wont be flattening the overall pack. I'll post a pic shortly..

You guys think it makes a difference with the chase being over the axle vs the weight being in front or behind the axle?

    I say go option 2.
If you wanna bring it down position some weight towards the tailgate of the bed lol.
I might go to option 2 if I end up leaving the rack off.

I did lol. But I really thought that it wouldnt be the drastic of a change. When I say she was jacked, I am not exaggerating lol. I'm gonna leave it where it is until I get my other spare. Then go back. I have to remember this pack is only a couple months old. Maybe itll settle a little more before I put it back.. or maybe I'll have to just buy more stuff and put it in the bed:) I'm sure you can help me @boardude
