I did the mod as described for my 2016. The two remaining ends I just covered them with tape so they wouldn't accidentally ground to something.

I wanted to provide a link to several different Fog Light Modifications that I have found on other forums for easy reference on here.

Toyota Tundra Forum - Foglight Anytime mod - easiest way???

Fog lamp mod - Toyota Tundra 2012

FREE 2014 Toyota Tundra fog light Mod.

The attached 2 pdfs go through the different mods. The easiest is "FogLightsEddieV1.pdf". This is the one that Sean266 and I will be doing soon. I will keep this thread posted on progress, ease of install and install tips.

I used the free 2014 version. Hope this helps.

I know this is old, but any guidance on doing this on a 1st gen? I’ve seen some stuff about doing it from under the dash, I was curious if you could do the same thing closer to the lamp?

I did this mod using the edies diy . no cutting of wires . used a jumper wire to connect to the two wire that were unclipt from the harnesses
