Not yet but I just got back from driving around with the family and damn does it sound aggressive. I think tomorrow I'll be installing the Helmholtz resonator to kill some of the drone.

Spent the day debadging and Plastidip on the remaining Tundra emblem. Also removed the mudflaps and first wash.

 

Clay barred 3 vehicles today

 

Did you delete the rear flaps as well? Pics of the rear if you did would be great! Would love to see what it looks like without the rear mud flaps...

They work very well and look way better than the stock amber bulb. I like not having the amber mixed in with my GTR head light bulbs. These pretty Mich match and don't take away from the nice looking bulbs like the stock amber did in my opinion. The parking light is bright and a Deep amber. When you have your headlights on and the light is white then activate the amber blinker it is instant. When you turn the blinker off and it turns from amber back to white there is a slight lag. Its normal and how the light functions. So if you get them and you see it don't think they are broken

 

Meguiars is readily available and works well.

 

Oh it still has a resistor huh.

 

Also look into clay mits and nanoskin synthetic clays. Very easy to use and make the job go quicker. I tested how they worked by going over areas I used synthetic clay, with real clay and the real clay didn't have any contaminants to pick up. They really to work well.

 

That is bad ass. What do you mainly use it for? How long does it take to fill the tank?

 

It all started with fireworks then air horns. My brother is across a 40 acre feild started the war. So i had a old duel air horn from a dump truck that i wanted to put in my new Tundra to shake his windows. Not sure how long (2 min?) Will have to time it someday.

Used the mag on the tundra used black from chemical guys on the older vehicles. They needed alot more attention. Also bought a gallon of lube from chemical guys. Both worked for what I need them for.

 

Week one of owning the new rig, and the first critical mod is done, window tint. Had my local guy do Llumar 20% on the front windows, matches the rear perfectly. SO much better than driving around in the aquarium, getting eyeballed.




And since I've done this on every Entune Toyota I've owned, I uploaded a few custom startup images.

Swapped all rear facing lights to LED.
The only filament lamps left on the truck are the two front blinkers, only because I haven't decided which replacement I'll get.

I bought black handles on ebay for about $70. Super easy to install but you do have to pull off the door panel, not all the way, you can leave wiring attached and reach in with a stubby screwdriver. The whole handle and lock assembly is held in with 2 screws.

I thought about removing mine and painting them, idk how paint would hold up though. But a vinyl wrap would work well.

I'm gonna sell my chrome ones if anyone wants them, or wants to do a custom wrap
