Found out yesterday that the previous owner cut/removed pins from the factory 4/7 pin connector on my 2015. Any idea what the color scheme is for the wires? I don’t have an extra person handy right now to test with a multimeter. Tried googling and didn’t find much.

Dark green is in pin 7 and yellow is in pin 1. There are also two green wires and no purple so I’m kind of lost.

This may have to wait until I can test with a mulimeter but thought I’d throw it out there.

    Mahalo,
    Jason

    Hi Ron,

Thank you very much, that's exactly what I was looking for! I couldn't find the weatherpak connectors so I'm just going to extend the wires a little (adhesive lined heat shrink butt splices) and use female terminals and a generous amount of dielectric grease. Will probably end up using the 12v + with an inline fuse for some bed lights since I only need the 4-flat connector for my trailer. Appreciate the quick and detailed reply and hopefully the wire colors match up since we have the same year.

    Mahalo,
    Jason

If this will help out at all, it's a 2016.

Thank you for the visual reference. Looks the same as I have mine wired and matches Ron’s 2015 wiring as well.
