Just wanted to post a quick review of Keith's 6 inch bolt on for our trucks. I will admit that I bought a used system from another member. I have been looking for over after and came across something I could afford.
For being used....i couldn't tell. It had, I believe several months of use and it looked brand new. The only areas where the paint was even remotely scuffed was the exhaust hangers, the rest was mint. The welds are well done, the sizing is perfect and everything lines up.
Keith's video on his website for installation is right on. My only issue was the fact I live in the salt belt in new England and my OEM exhaust was rusty as hell, especially the flanges and bolts. I had to SOAK them in PB blaster several times and use an air gun, one bolt stripped but with the help of @UTTundra and @dirtydeeds I was able to get it off.
The resonator was easy to install, amd does a realky great job killing unwanted noise. just be sure you really hold that drill tight, those hole saws can give some serious kick back.
My install took me about 3 or 4 hours. 1 hour of that was driving to and from 2 stores to get a bolt extractor and then clamps for the resonator (Keith includes these with his kits, but if buying used you'll want new ones).
The sound is perfect, as far as I can tell, I haven't driven much. At idle you can hear a faint rumble from the outside but it sounds stock inside. There is no drone that I have noticed. I like the sound while driving , especially with the back window rolled down. I would say with the Windows up, there is minimal increase in cabin noise at most speeds. I have not taken a highway ride yet.
This is a very high quality kit that Keith puts together, the fitment is perfect and that can't be easy to achieve. It sounds just like he says it does and appears to be built better than he says it is.

If anyone is on the fence on getting a BAMuffler, do it!!
If you're considering a different brand, don't do it!!! On other trucks I have had flowmaster and magnaflo weld ons, this just seems to be superior and certainly better thought out.
There is proven performance behind his kits, it's just not a bunch of noise.

I've had it on for a couple weeks and I still really like it. I will say that I think it's loud, not too loud or overwhelming drone though. I do hear some drone at certain rpms but it's minimal. I was in the fence between a 6 and 8 inch, got a deal on the 6 so I went for it. If buying new I'd get an 8 maybe a 7...but I also didn't want anything too loud and many of you actually consider the 6 quiet. I had already planned to do some sound deadening in the truck and I think that's all I need to get this where I want it as far as cab noise. Again, it's not too loud, but I think 8" would be just right, then again maybe it would be too quiet lol. I love this exhaust and think it's a great product. Better than previous magnaflow and flowmaster I have had on previous vehicles.
One thing to note is that my gas mileage has gone up??? Yes up, even though I've been a little more heavy footed and find myself pushing the tow/haul ass button a lot more. I've gained .5 mpg over the last 2 tanks. Certainly love that aspect as well.
Seat of my pants dyno also noticed an improvement. It could be a hand full of HP and torque which I realize is not noticeable but I wanna think I can feel it.
Thanks for a great product Keith.

I'm just now seeing this. Yeah, I love mine and wouldn't change anything to it. TRD replica with muffler delete with resonators, is definitely loud and shows off the balls of the 5.7.

Ordered and anxiously awaiting the dual budget side exit w/ x-pipe. Will throw up a review after install if I can pull myself away from driving the thing.

I have noticed an occasional backfire from my exhaust. Usually on the same road in the same places upon deceleration. Has anyone noted a slight backfire? Could I need to tighten or adjust something? Not a big deal at all, just curious. @dirtydeeds

Yeah I get that too, just occasionally. Usually when it’s still cold, on deceleration. I kinda like it though LOL. I think it’s just the nature of the beast you can just hear it now. It probably did it with the stock exhaust you were just unaware.

Perfectly normal. They all do it just the stock muffler absorbs it.

I have been driving with the 6" system for a while now without the resonator. It does drone without it. I liked the loud exhaust though. Decided to add the resonator yesterday. Wow it really quiets the cab noise a lot and changes the exhaust sound a bit. Less raspy and more clear, just not as loud.

My budget system did the same on declaration on occasion. Was few and far between so I assumed it was fine. Didn't really bother me. I too drove with the resonator off for a while but then the wife took the truck and shut that down quick. So I put the resonator on and it gave it a more clean sound and no drone. Wifes happy. But there was a bit more rasp at wot with the budget system then I wanted. I talked to Keith and he said the fix was get the 6" system. At first I didn't want to try and sell the budget to pay for the 6. Keith said no no no. Send the budget back and pay the difference between budget and 6 inch. Talk about customer service. So now I have stock which is depressing. But now I'm excited to wait for my new 6 system. So shout out to Keith @dirtydeeds for not hesitating to take care of his customers.

    Dirty deeds 6 inch system
Just installed my 6” BA system from @dirtydeeds . This was well worth the purchase. I did a ton of research, and my wife was annoyed and all set with me listening to YouTube and forums every night for 2 months. This system is unreal and I am more than happy that I chose to purchase through Keith. I have not installed the resonator yet. Not sure I really need to. This sound is aggressive on throttle but not overwhelming in the cab. The rumble and throatiness are perfect. Drove 2 hours on highway and there was no drone at cruising 65/75 mph. Only time we noticed cabin noise was at lower gears, but still not enough to convince me to install resonator. This system lets you enjoy the 5.7 V8. Any insights on resonator? Does it change sound of 6 inch system? Thanks Keith!!!

I am looking to get the 8" system, would this fit with my full size 35" spare? Got a used 35" tire to make sure it fits under there.20210131_104854.jpg
