Raptor grille, spyder head and tail lights, LED all interior/exterior lighting, led third brake light, Pioneer mixtrax touch screen, AFe exhaust and K&N intake. 4” lift, front and rear TRD sway bars, LED bumper light-bar, LineX color match bumpers.
Need your help guys. So, I ordered an LED light bar online that came with all the pre-wiring, blade fuse, relay and a 5 pin rocker switch which I thought would fit perfectly since “it said it would” but it’s not even close. I didn’t want to cut the dash so now I’m left searching for a 5 pin rocker switch that fits. Are there any suggestions? I’ve looked everywhere and the only thing I’ve found is the Toyota S Push button which has a different wiring set up and I’m not the most electrically inclined. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

This is my best guess as to why you have a 5 pin switch. Do you have a multi-meter or plain old volt meter? 20180715_071550.jpg

Where are you located? Maybe another member can help you out if close? Do you have the instructions that came with bar? Wiring diagram?

Exactly. Whites are power to switch and switch illumination when switch is on on position.. blue wire supplies power to bar when in on position. Black wires are all grounded by the lead in your hand with the power wire and in line fuse

Got it, okay so I’ve ordered a different push switch that fits the Tundra through air on board and it has basically the same set up I’ll just need to strip the black white and blue from the connector and connect to the switch so when it gets here I’ll just use the diagram that NewImprovedRon uploaded and see. 74F0D954-76D7-467B-95F1-274B68CF06A6.jpg 73938117-B4B4-42BD-866B-BF58E7165613.jpg

Update: LED Lightbar install is finally done. I had some free time and it worked out perfectly with the new switch. Pretty easy when you have the right equipment! I also had the bumpers paint matched in LineX coating and it turned out awesome I think! Thanks for your help guys!

Great looking truck! I'm about to get a MGM Tundra Crewmax myself and I'm gathering ideas for what to do to it. What type of lift/level are you running and what size tires are those?

Very nice! looks clean, any trimming needing to be done to put the lightbar in that location? how is it mounted? link to the light bar?

To piggyback on this, if I'm installing a second light bar that has the same switch style do I tap all 3 wires that run between the relay and the switch? Or tap only the blue and black and cap off the white since there's not a second switch to illuminate?

The lift is only about 4” it’s really just a leveling kit purchased through Rough Country. https://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-suspension-lift-kit-76720.html Tires are 33”

Thanks! Yeah I trimmed the inside of the plastic cover with just a small saw. The brackets are attached directly to the frame. Here’s the YouTube video I followed: https://youtu.be/OiWmoD-JyBs

Exactly. If no illumination, no wire should be tapped. At that point your just going to have a single power and the one wire that actually powers the light bar.

Yeah it’s a 30” I’m not sure about the height of the Baja light bar but you only have like 1 3/4” space to work with.

So I just got a cree light bar that puts out about 15000 lumens flood/spot combo, it’s brighter than I was even expecting! It was only $75. I may change it later but for now I just couldn’t bring myself to spend $400-$900 on something by rigid or anyone else that does the same thing I was looking for. When it gets dark I’ll post some pics of output.

Mine are both wired off one switch. I good not imagine a situation where I would just want one bar on. Just tapped in to the trigger wire from switch to trigger on second relay.

What brand is your lower bumper one? I like that it installs behind the factory bumper without having to cut anything
