Added the @RCIoffroad Aluminum skids. Waiting for next sale to get gas tank skid! These are truly a work of art!
Great build, fit, and excellent product!
    Easy install, great directions!
I am certainly not a rock crawler, so the Aluminum made sense to me. Will be adding Transmission skid next time they have a sale!
The pics of the crossmember bracket are there for reference, as that was the only questionable "where does this go" item that wasnt in the install pics.
Install states to mount the bracket to skid first, as there is not enough room to bolt it to the skid after the bracket is on the crossmember. (Drivers side)
I mounted the bracket, attached the passenger side, and then dropped the bracket mounted to the skid, and tightened the drivers side. I did this so that I was right on with alignment of the skid.

You and I started with pretty much the exact same truck (front bench and all). It's cool to see what's possible based on what you've done.

So no lift at this point correct? What size are those tires and did that actually fit (steering lock to lock)?

    Looks like a sweet ride!

Thank you! I appreciate the kind words!

No lift at that picture. The rubbing was a lot within the fender well area. The removal of the mini mud guard attached to front valence helped in the front, but no change in the rear side of the front wheel well. The Cab mount chop and lift corrected that. I am sure less aggressive tires and maybe less offset, may have fit without issues. I do know people with the TRD Pro suspension running same setup with very minimal rub. What I had on there was the TRD offroad package, which doesnt have as much lift as the Pro.

Added Spidertrax 1.25” spacers. Deciding whether or not to put on the fender flares I have....

As well as, from a few months ago:

Finally manned up and took on replacing the center non-black surround. After having the black replacement for nearly 3 months, I thought it was time. I was amazed that it only took just over an hour, from start to finish. Way easier than I expected. I’ll post daylight pics tomorrow. But here are the cringe pics:

Nice build! Are those OE tow mirrors on that? Might be looking to do some similar mods on mine! Staying tuned....

I didn't realize you had that 4runner also. We had discussed swapping hoods for the 4Runner years ago.
